.... well... I was thinking of remodeling my blog and my friend Luv says I should keep it... so I will keep it just the way it is... and hope that someday we will meet for coffee.... well... tea for me... hehe
...I'm no longer selling advertisement here... just being goofy... hehe
.... funny thing... every time I talk with her ... or just read her... well.... she gets me right there...
... so.... I changed the words here to reflect the respect I have for her... and now we can just have fun... hehe

... I am trying to do what boys do while still being a man...
...should I slow the days down so that the nights become longer? ...
... or maybe I should slow down the nights so that the days become longer? ...
... perhaps I shouldn't try to convince you of what I am feeling...
... perhaps the nights are better left for the night time...

.... it's like Marilyn Monroe all over again...
... or is it? ...
... I have been to the Casino where she died... it's right here in Hollywood Fl... within five miles from home.... saw all the media as I drove past it on my way home this afternoon...
... it's sad in a way... she had just lost her 20 year old Danny ... and now has a new little girl who will never know her mother...
...I'm not certain but she most definitely looked like she was very drugged up during her last interview... guess we will know more after the autopsy...
... oh well.... I'm sure there is a reason ... but will we ever know? ....

... ummmmm .... all I know is it's crazy around here... *nodding* ...
... I live less than a mile from "ground zero" ...the "theatre of operations" ... and so far I've seen twenty combat planes... 15 combat helicopters... 37 police helicopters... 2000 small aircraft pulling huge banners behind them in formation... and they've shut down South Beach so that those who are in the zone have somewhere to hide...
... and did I mention the dirigibles? ... I have seen 22 of them... all with large scrolling warnings of the impending doom... floating silently through the air...
... my house is three blocks from the North Perry airport... an airport I might add that's right in the heart of the "no fly" zone... apparently they will shoot down any planes within a 10 mile radius of the "game" ... *scratching head* ...
.... need I say more? ....
... now about the game ..... I've heard that there will be lots of leather and lace... even some short skirts.... so I might venture outside my home to see if I can get a full on assault... but I won't drive anywhere... just peak outside once in awhile... *nodding* ...

... since this is virtual... you can bring any gifts you like... even the really exspensive ones... *nodding* ....
... I don't do this often... but she's my friend... and when my friends need good thoughts I make sure that they hear them... *nodding* ...
... no card is too good .... no gift too big... no flower too rare... so bring what you wish... and wish for what you bring... hehe ... just remember it's the thought that counts ...

... you gotta check this one out ... it's got a bike that you ride and don't go anywhere... *scratching head* ...
... there's large pieces of round iron that's fun to roll around the floor ... hehe ... and boy do they make noise when you send them down the stairs... lol
... there's a room with nothing but hot air and you can add steam ... *wiping sweat from forehead* ...
... there's even a tub on the deck with hot water and bubbles... that's where I'm heading now... *nodding* ... wanna join me Luv? ...
... the only rule is no clothes... hehe ... hope you don't mind...
... this is just what the doctor ordered... awwwwww ...

... now listen guys... I know I haven't responded to all of your comments and questions... but I gotta tell you I just needed to decompress for a couple of days... *nodding* ... here's the short version of my update though... lol
... Friday started the same as all the other days since I arrived in NY ... get up around 5 AM .... *don't need an alarm clock... it came built in from birth* ... hehe ... shower... dress with the warmest clothes I own... put on gloves ... hat ... boots... earmuffs... long underwear... heated socks... gore-tex jacket... laptop... GPS .... key to room... and open door to hotel room ... breathing deeply just before the frigid cold hits the lungs... *nodding* ...
... then walk the short distance to the lobby for a continental breakfast of hot oatmeal... bagel... and whatever fresh fruit might have made it all the way to NY... *shaking head* ... and then wait for my instructor to roll out towards class... of course talking to all the other early birds about the weather... crime... and other current events that one might discuss over oatmeal and hot tea... *don't forget that I had to take off my hat ... gloves... coat... sweater... and earmuffs before I even sat down for breakfast* ... lol ...
... and of course I then had to put it all back on again to go from the lobby to the car... *shaking head* ...
... so after getting to class I'm anxious to begin the final exam... the test to see if anything I had heard from the past two weeks had been retained in that mass of muscle we call the brain... lol ... * I was smart though... I took my instructor and his girlfriend out for dinner the night before... knowing full well that this is one sure way to influence the scoring curve* ... lol
... and off I went answering question after question... making certain I pondered over the way the questions were worded... you know they always try to trick you this way... *nodding* ...
.... well two hours later I was presented with the trophy... a nice shiny certificate... with my name in bold print... recognising me as a certified Tadiran Tech... *holding paper high in the air* ... but then this was just the first few hours of the day... *nodding* ... the rest of it went wildly down hill ... lol
... my flight was to leave JFK at 7:10 PM that evening... and knowing the trains the way I did I thought I would get an early start heading there... *shaking head* ... lol ... but having passed the test with only the second perfect score... my instructor decided to have the company Limo take me to the airport... for which I was eternally grateful ... lol and off I went... shaking hands with a few there whom I had now become buddies with...
... I arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare... smoked a celebration cigar... and went in to begin the task of going through those ever important security checks... *nodding* ... removing all the winter gear and stashing them in a bag that hopefully won't be needed for a very long time... lol ... and I got in line to be scanned...
... I forgot that you can't take lighters or matches on board... and during the preliminary discovery search they identified the fact that I was trying to sneak a pack of matches onto the plane and sent me to the special place they send all those who try to sneak things not allowed on the plane... *shaking head* ... and proceed to inspect every nook and cranny of my person and carry on luggage... finding nothing other then the matches which they promptly placed into a "safe" ... lol
... it's a good thing I have a sense of humor.... cause this is one of the times you really don't want to smile... laugh .... or crack jokes... these guys are serious ... *nodding* ...
... so I proceeded to the gate where my plane was to meet me.... and settled in for the two an a half hour wait...
... normally you can access the Internet via WI FI but thier wireless was down so I opened my book and started reading... knowing that very soon I would be home where the outside air was warmer than the inside air I was currently breathing... and I was pleased with the way my trip had gone up to this moment...
... they finally called out to start boarding and on the plane I went... it was now 7:20 ... and when I looked out the window I discovered it had been snowing ... not a lot... but enough to warrant the need to de-ice the plane... and not just the one I was on ... this procedure was required by every plane that was taking off from this airport which at this airport could be anywhere from thirty to fifty planes every hour... and I slowly realised that I was destined to be on this particular leg of my journey longer than any other I had encountered thus far... *smiling* ...
... so we waited... and we waited... an hour... two hours... three hours.... and finally we made it to the staging area to get that special sauce they use on the wings to prevent them from icing up... but there were still about fifty planes in line ... all waiting for that special sauce... lol ...
... well ... to make a long story short... *nodding* ... we finally took off... 5 hours later than scheduled... putting my arrival time in Ft Lauderdale at 2:29 AM Saturday morning... lol ... and the temperature was a balmy 75* ...
... well I'm safely home... and trying to decompress from the last two weeks... I will try to catch up with all of you... just know that "there's no place like home" ... hehe ...

... I know ... kinda lame topic... but hey... just curious how everyone is faring with this cold snap...
... me.... I'm remembering why I moved to Florida... *nodding* ... it's gonna be 18* tonight in Long Island... brrrrrrrr...
... *heading to the Lobby for some hot chocolate and a bagel* ...
