Went to bed in a pissy mood due to a snarky and incorrect email from my boss and woke up in a pissy mood with a migraine. Why is it that my boss listens to one side of a story and reams me without any substantiating data?? So I rip off an email in response that directly disputes, with proof, what he's being snarky about. What I can't quite figure out is WHY I'm still pissed this morning??? Shouldn't I feel, in some manner, vindicated because I can prove, without a doubt, what he's being snarky about is completely incorrect? Grrrrrr.....

There are times I gripe about my HoneyBunny...Sometimes deservedly, others not so much but I must give him a big barrel full of THANKS A BUNCH...He took time out of his schedule to drive the 1.5 hours to me the day I had my procedures, went out for breakfast with me, took me to the medical office, sat the 2 hours it took to fry my uterus and shoot titanium coils into my tubes, took me home, made certain I was comfortable and took great care of me..... He truly is a Prince among men.... I love you

Historically, I'm not a Black Friday shopper and this year was no different. I'm not certain what the appeal is to shop with a whole bunch of crazy people trying to get the "best deals". I generally try to stay out of stores between now and Xmas just beacuse this time of year seems to bring out the "idiot" in others and the "less than tolerant" in me. I understand "Suzy" who is 5 wants to push the cart but my feet enjoy being NOT run over, smashed into and generally mangeled by "Suzy". And can we just agree to disagree about saving 12 cents on ANYTHING??? Here's the freaking 12 cents now can we MOVE ALONG??? If I MUST do last minute shopping, I do so very late at night, usually when the stores start to stay open to Midnight or later. I can zip in, grab what I want and zip out without a whole bunch of pain. I can't, for the life of me understand people who last minute shop...I'd be very tempted to committ crimes of passion....

So I had my procedures done today and all I can say is man are drugs GREAT!!! Combine Valium with Vicodin & Morphine makes for a very loopy chick....

Many of you know I have a HoneyBunny whom I love dearly. That said, I've been depending on no one but myself for years and sometimes find it difficult to lean on another person or ask for help, should I need it. I'm usually a fairly independent, I can do it myself type so asking my HoneyBunny for help, in this instance, is a HUGE deal, for me.
I have to have a couple of in office medical procedure done on Tuesday and need a ride to and from the office as I'll be fairly solidly drugged. Before the procedure, I need to take Valium, 2 Vicodin, 2 Celebrex and Zantac. When I get to the office, the give me 2 shots of Toradol and some Phenergan as an anti-nausea thingy.... Needless to say, I'll be at less than my best. I was going to have one of the take me & pick me up but realized I'd really feel better if my HoneyBunny were there. SO, I asked if he'd be my go to guy and he volunteered to be bus driver and chaperone.
While it may not sem a big deal, to some, it's a really big step for me....

I do love my job, much of the time. There are just times I think people ENJOY being out of work while making their employer pay them while injured. It just boggles my mind that someone who falls and bonks their butt on a floor can be off of work for 6-8 weeks. And NO, there is NO broken bones, fractures or anything that shows on CT or MRI. Stop being such a fucking baby and DO YOUR JOB....I understand you feel entitled to be of work while having someone pay you your wage but JESUS CHRIST ON A CRUTCH.....Then take the NSAID's prescribed to you, go to physical therapy as ordered and get over it....

A few weeks ago, my 19 year old asks me if "WE" can watch a friends while she has her baby. My knows both of the parents, who are not married to each other.....This "girl" (23) is having her 4th with the 4th different Dad (he's 19)...Her other are 8,5 & 2. SO, like a complete MORON, I say "Sure, WE can watch the 2 year old while her Mom's having the new baby". Well, the WE turned into me taking primary responsibility for the 2 year old, who is actually terribly sweet. But it just PISSED me off no end when I say something to my about helping out so I can get some work done and he's "tired, has a headache" and "couldn't sleep". TOUGH SHIT BOY!!!! I'm the only one of the 3 adults who live in the frigging house who works full time and pays all the F**KING bills so get up outta your GD bed and do SOMETHING!!!

Reading the local daily paper today and trying to see if there's anything interesting going on. I get to the obit's and see a cousin of mine died over the weekend of a heart attack at 39. I am just dumbfounded, at a complete loss.... Since I'm the last one left in my immediate family to be living in the "home town", I called my parents & my brother to share the news with them and they, like me, were shocked.... While I was talking to my brother, I just BAWLED because it'd KILL me if he wasn't around to talk to.... I can't imagine the loss...I'm just SO filled with sorrow for the family....

Well, as some of you may know, there are days I work from home. Today happens to be one of those days. On those days I work from home, I'm in no hurry at all to get showered & dressed before I take the youngest to the middle school. I generally just put on a jacket over my jammies, slide on some flip flops and go. This morning, the looks at me and shakes his head as if to say "God, Mom, put clothes on" but when I ask him he says "*sigh* NOTHING". So what if it doesn't bother me that I'm wearing my jammies?? It's not like I'm wearing a negligee....It's a long sleeved t-shirt & flannel pajama pants... OK, so they are peach, pink & yellow striped.... But what's the biggie??

I'll preface my rant by telling everyone who doesn't know it that fall is my FAVORITE season of the year. I ADORE the cooler temps, the changing leaves, the pumpkins & apple cider, taking a walk and hearing leave crunch underfoot...
That said, WTF happened in the last 36 hours?? I've gone from having my central air on to thinking about turning the furnace on....Cripes, how's about a slow slide into fall, NOT a rude slap on the face???

OK, so I had to go to the Doctor today for that yearly thing all women should. The gyno discovers they need to do an ultrasound and "It's a new machine, you wouldn't mind if a few people watched, would you?" Gee, sure, bring in the tabloids, newspapers and all other forms of print media to watch how you do an ultrasound of a uterus, ovaries & fallopian tubes...CHRIST, like having it done in the first place isn't bad enough....At least they turned the lights off so I didn't have to deal with looking at people looking at my crotch.....But WHAT a great teaching experience....NOT!!!

I've been toying with the finishing a romantic novel I began 7-8 years ago. SO, in that light, I signed up for a creative writing class at the local technical college. Tonight was the first class and was terribly interesting. The contecnt was presented well and was helpful in creating ideas, plot lines and characters..... I'm SO excited.....
