Missing Bling

Update 4/21: A day late, but the restored script is running right now. I already see a bunch of your bling coming back. By tomorrow morning you should see all of them again.
UPDATE 4/17: OK, I've just talked with our database guys and everything is going to be restored. The plan it to restore the missing Bling on Monday (4/20). It was our mistake, we were fixing another bug and it brushed up against some Bling.

So, people are missing Bling. I'm tracking it down and I'll let you know what I know, when I know it.
I'm working with our database administrator to figure out what's going on. I don't want to make a lot of work for you, but I was wondering if you could give me a few numbers of the missing Bling. The Bling number is the number that's showing up instead of your Bling.
Just a hunch, but I'm thinking maybe a block of Bling went missing and if I can tell our DBA which ones, it may help.
Also, is everyone missing some Bling today?

Cam Issue - Stopped Broadcasting thing

UPDATE 4/15: FIXED! So it was a problem with lowercase "s". You guys were right. Actually everyone should thank muffsuckers_22 for figuring out the that all the username began with an "S" and sjfantasy01 for making the astute observation that all the usernames were a lowercase "s".
I won't get all technical because honestly I don't really understand it, but we were stripping out the "s" in the stream ID. Basically it barfed when the "s" was gone from your streaming feed.
OK, now try it out - let me know if it's working for you now.
I know there are more webcam issues. There's a super brilliant, kooky and anti-social guy over here who has been tasked with fixing all webcam bugs. I really trust it's going to get better.
So I just want to acknowledge that this issue is happening. There are many people trying to isolate the cause.
Here's the issue:
I'm hearing members say that they can view cams, but when people try and view their cam it continues to say "stopped broadcasting." It’s the same story from any computer they log in with. They can use another account and it works fine.
Ok, so I've been getting a list together of members with the issue (thanks muffsuckers_22). The really strange thing is that all the names so far start with the letter "S". It may be nothing, but if you are having this issue please let me know.
I'll update you when I hear anything. So sorry it's not working. I'm pissed too.

More Bling for Your Buck

OK, slow news day but I do have some news. I was able to convince the powers that be to increase max Bling from 800 to 1200.
I'm still working on unlimited. Honestly we've only had about 8 people even come close to the max so far, so this is really just for a few people. Still kinda cool for a few of you.
It is scheduled to be updated early next month (probably May 5th). So you can't do it yet, but it's built and will be here soon.

UPDATE 4/14:
Did you guys know that if you look on the right hand side of your Blog home page, there is a section named recent visitors. There are little eyeballs next to some of your visitors, check it out when you "View All." Those eyeballs mean that that member is watching your blog. It's not well organized, but at least the functionality is there already. Just need to display it in a more useful way.
This has been suggested and I just assumed it was a good idea and started building it. Then I thought I might be missing something here. Is there any reason you wouldn't want to see who is watching your Blog?
Key Functionlity:
- You would be able to see who is watching your blog in a "View All" list.
- Other people would be able to see that you are watching their blog.
Other Feature?
I'm also thinking maybe you should be able to keep someone from watching your blog, kind of like how you kick people out of a Group. They could still see your Blog, but won't be informed of when you post.

Any on got a screen shot of this issue? I can't seem to replicate. Also for those who are experiencing it, are you using IE, Firefox - what browser do you see it on?
Here's the full bug:
SOME handles in the hotlist/flirt/view AND the IM are unreadable because the "Online Now" or "Chatting Now"! shows as a shadow on top of the handle name, making it indecipherable. This happens with the Who's Viewed Me list. If they are on IMC the notice overwrites the handle.

Hope April is treating you well so far. Do they say "April showers bring May flowers" in England? Do you do taxes in England in April?
OK, so bugs and features. I know you want the bugs fixed and no new features, but the new features tie into things you've been asking for.
Some features I'm working on:
- An expanded blocking feature
- A list of all the people following your Blog
- A simple tool for Groups to create and track Events (think Evite-light)
- Page numbers in Groups will be put back on the top AND the bottom
- Fixing it so that changing your signature won't put your whole profile into "Pending"
Bugs
(not the full list, but the ones I'm pushing the hardest)
Blogs
- Watched Blogs list doesn't show date of last post
- Watched Blogs is only showing one page
- Editing often causes a post to be showing as member deleted when it was not.
- Post goes live, gets 2 views & then disappears.
- Fixing CSS table width issue
- Editing a post often does not update the post.
- Watched Blog Post list will only show 1 post per user name
- The vote to a poll is slow to post
Search

(not the full list, great changes are coming)
- Flash chat stops updating
- IM timeouts
- Members are shown to be on IMC if they are in chat only
- Flash chat boots people out
- If you switch from HTML to Flash, the members previous comments repost all at once, dominating the room screen.
- When sending an IM to another member even if they have IMC open messages do not go through

Man, I'm feeling the Blogging pain this week too. I know it doesn't seem like there is any movement, but our top priorities are:
Watched Blog Post list will only show 1 post per user name
Watched Blogs is only showing one page
"Watched Blogs" list doesn't show date of last post
Post showing as member deleted when it was not
After about 7 tries I was able to get the stick figure porn finalist up today. Check em out. SoyKofla2 is in there and a few others.

Everyone over here is loving your advice, so why not keep it going?
Love to hear your thoughts on a feature we are trying to improve.
Some of you may have taken the Sex Survey on Passion.com. It's a survey that tries to find out what types of sex you are into. It's obvious that you guys, gals and couples are all into the same things. Here are some fun facts from that survey:
Anal
Overall, more men like to give anal than women who want it
With women it’s a coin toss - 50% of women don’t like anal, and 50% do
5% of women require anal
Oral
Couples require oral more than men and women
92% of couples want to give and get oral
89% of men think it's important or required to get oral
75% of women want to give oral
86% of women want to get oral
Toys
Almost 15% of women require you use toys on them.
Dominant role
I found this odd, way less than 50% of you like to play the dominant role. More men than women did of course. Ahh testosterone.
My question to you is ‒ what would you want to be matched up based on? What are you into and what's important to you? Also, how do you think that question should be answered?
