My friend Bux is going on a well deserved vacation. She's been pretty run down lately. It is sure to be a great trip. I hope she comes home with a big BLANK!

I am currently watching the episode of MASH where Harry Morgan played a different character, General Steele, instead of Colonel Potter.
I could watch it all day. He is so crazy.
The song at the end is hilarious.

Had some dental work done yesterday, and they numbed me up pretty good. Most of it had worn off by late evening so I could at least eat a little something.
I never sleep through the night. I always end up waking up, or rolling over, or going to the bathroom. So I don't worry about setting an alarm.
Apparently the stuff stayed in my system, because I slept straight through and woke up late. Glad I woke up early enough to at least make it into work. I can't imagine what would have happened if I just kept sleeping and never called in.
I think dentist have the best drugs. I think if I could get the right prescription, I could sleep through a full week and lose 25 pounds just from not eating.

I had an interesting experience this week that made me question whether it is possible to not be selfish enough.
I know I see a lot of blogs that mention guys who are selfish. I don't consider myself one of them. I am generally concerned about others and try to do what I can to make things better for others.
But what happens when two such people encounter each other? If someone is too concerned about someone else, can that frustrate a second person trying to do the same?
I've been giving it a lot of thought this week. I'm not sure I know the answer.
Any thoughts?
(yes, I know...I'm all fucked up....
but do you have anything else to offer?)
