Hey you, out there in the cold, getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me? Hey you, out there on your own, sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me? Hey you, out there beyond the wall, breaking bottles in the hall, can you help me? Hey you, don't help them to bury the light, don't give in without a fight.

Reilly stole a stallion, but they caught him and they brought him back to answer for his sin. They laid him down on the jailhouse floor with an iron chain around his neck. Reilly’s got a message that her father was goin’ to hang. She rode by night and came by morning with gold and silver in her hand.
When the judge he saw Reilly’s , his old eyes deepened in his head, sayin, “Gold will never free your father, the price, my dear, is you instead”. “Oh I’m as good as dead,” cried Reilly, “it’s only you that he craves, and my skin will surely crawl if he touches you at all, so get on your my and ride away”. “Oh father, you will surely die, if I don’t take the chance to pay the price, so I’ll not take your advice, and for that reason I will have to stay”. The gallows shadows shook the evening. In the night a hound bayed, in the night the grounds were groanin’. In the night the price was paid.
The next mornin’ she had awoken, to know that the judge had never spoken. She saw that hangin’ branch a-bendin’ and she saw her father’s body broken. These be seven curses on a judge so cruel; that one doctor will not save him, that two healers will not heal him, that three eyes will not see him, that four ears will not hear him, that five walls will not hide him, that six diggers will not bury him and that seven deaths shall never kill him.

Thank You for 10,000

“Thank-You” and I hope the next 10,000 are as fun and interesting as the first. A thought to leave you with
A well-known speaker started off his seminar holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it...?" Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We may feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by “who we are”.

They say if you’re not hanging from the cross, then you’re banging the nails.
Shadows are falling and I'm running out of breath, if I leave you, it doesn't mean I love you any less. When you get up in the morning and you see that crazy sun Keep me in your heart for awhile

Every man, woman and seeks equal justice, equal opportunities, and equal dignity. Without the fear of discrimination, regardless of your race, sex, religion, sexual preference or social status. When you were born, you were born with the same human rights as everyone else. You have the right to live in peace; and you were born free to have the right of expression.

I am the darkness that lures you from the light. I will stimulate your mind, frustrate your illusions and pleasure your body, beyond what you have ever dared to imagine. I will protect you from those who don’t understand, while I invade your mind and soul of our times together when we’re apart. Your nights shall be filled with whimpered praise and lusty desire, and your days are filled with memories and thoughts of was it real or just a dream. Take me by the hand and accept me as I am. Life is but a second but I am forever

I really need to stop watching the news on Sunday Morning… Every time I think “it can’t get any worse” we lower ourselves to a new level in inhumanity, that I’m willing to bet even scares the devil himself…
Let’s start with air flight MH 370; as someone who flies on a fairly regular basis, the incompetence and inaction of what happened with that rechit plane flight scares the crap out of me, 237 people are dead and we may never the truth as to what happened…
Let’s talk about the ferry disaster the killed 300 school due to gross incompetence and cowardice of the captain and 1st officers… I really hope there is a special place in the next life for them… Somehow I hope brass pineapples are involved.
How about the 240 school girls kidnapped in Nigeria that are being sold into slave trade or murdered, and their only crime was to get an education and a voice of their own… There is no bigger assault on humanity and freedom than to deny an education to a …
So what are we talking about; a racist billionaire who had a private conversation and disagreement in the privacy of his own home with his girlfriend and better yet nobody knows where the taped conversation came from… I agree that racism has no place in today’s society, but let’s also remember for every Archie Bunker, there’s a George Jefferson…
I guess for me, when I thing about racism, I think about the American Indian, we took their land, killed their leaders, destroyed their beliefs and re-bred their blood line almost out of existence… And yet their story continues to be untold.

I took my love, I took it down. Climbed a mountain and I turned around. I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills, ‘till the landslide brought me down.
We have to understand our limitations Before we can see the road in which we travel We have to understand our pain Before we can begin to live and share We have to understand forgiveness Before we allow others to share our journey We have to know the meaning of passion Before we allow ourselves to love
Another love has come and gone and the years keep rushing on. I remember what you told me before you went out on your own; sometimes to keep it together, we got to leave it alone. "So you can get on with your search, baby, and I can get on with mine. And maybe someday we will find , that it wasn't really wasted time.

A young guy from North Dakota moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job. The Manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?" The says "Yeah. I was a vacuum salesman back in North Dakota." Well, the boss was unsure, but he liked the and figured he'd give him a shot, so he gave him the job. "You start tomorrow. I'll come down after we close and see how you did."
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it. After the store was locked up, the boss came down to the sales floor. "How many customers bought something from you today?" The frowns and looks at the floor and mutters, "One". The boss says "Just one?!!? Our sales people average sales to 20 to 30 customers a day. That will have to change, and soon, if you'd like to continue your employment here. We have very strict standards for our sales force here in Florida. One sale a day might have been acceptable in North Dakota, but you're not on the farm anymore, ."
The took his beating, but continued to look at his shoes, so the boss felt kinda bad for chewing him out on his first day. He asked (semi-sarcastically), "So, how much was your one sale for?" The looks up at his boss and says "$101,237.65". The boss, astonished, says $101,237.65?!? What the heck did you sell?" The says, "Well, first, I sold him some new fish hooks. Then I sold him a new fishing rod to go with his new hooks. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4x4 Expedition." The boss said "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a TRUCK!?"
The said "No, the guy came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said, 'Dude, your weekend's shot, you should go fishing.'"
