The Best Laid Plans . . .

My Muse was planning on coming to Cincinnati next Tuesday with her friend, DM. She even made a point to ask if I had any plans.
So, I go through the tedious task of changing and cancelling appointments, meetings and events. Calendar cleared, dinner reservations made.
I just called her a few minutes ago, telling her it is a go.
And guess what?
She's going to a baseball game with the Jolly Green Giant Tuesday night. A fucking baseball game! How many baseball games are left in the season, you ask? Good question. A lot. It's not like it's the last game of the season.
You see, I'll Take Sex Over Friends Anyday and I are Siamese twins who were separated at birth. This would have been our first meeting since that fateful day we were separated.
Oh well, all I have to say is that I hope the Jolly Green Giant is truly a giant (where that matters, of course). Otherwise, she will regret cancelling this trip for the rest of her days.

So, when I logged onto this money-sucking pit tonight, I noticed on my main page that I had an invite to be in someone's network.
My mind starts racing. Is it some black hunk who lives down the street from me? Maybe it's some cute, young boy who's looking for someone "older". Maybe it's a new FOM or FWBs.
On the other hand, it may be another 72-year old guy from Tanzania. 
I click on the link, and guess who?
marathonman45202!!! WTF? It appears that I have invited myself to be in my network of friends.
I have to look at (and play with) that damn hand everyday. Why do I need a picture of it in my friends network.
Many years ago, when I was much more flexible, I could pleasure myself orally. But those days are long gone, so what use do I have for myself in my friends network?
I didn't come here to meet myself, and I certainly don't need to have any more sex with myself.
But, do you know how it feels to decline your own invitation to your own network?
Damn, I think I need some self-esteem. Or a big black hunk or a cute, young guy. Yeah that's it. Then I'll feel better about myself.

I typically don't take much interest in all the numbers that Affairlook shares with us. Most of them seem pretty useless.
But, I now have 100 members watching my blog! I have been in the high 90's for weeks, getting closer to 100, and then falling back.
And my 100th new fan is none other than my new friend and artist, WantTheSex20.

High 90's today with a boat load of humidity. It is hot as hell here.
Tomorrow will be 95 degrees. Heat index will make it feel like 104 degrees.

As many of you know by now, I love celebrating milestones. I think making note of big events is important.
For the last few days, Thalia, My Muse has been badgering me to write this 300th post. I've been dragging my feet (no socks) because I haven't been able to decide what to write here.
It occurred to me tonight to just say "fuck it" to all the different ideas brewing in my little brain.
So, on this momentous occasion, I just want to say, "I'm so glad we've had this time together, just to have a laugh or sing a song."
I'm not including the end of the song, because I'm not going anywhere soon!
Blog on!
