Here I sit......recovering from some major surgery....Everything went well...no problems, and I'm recovering nicely. Something like this makes a person see things a little differently........no big surprises tho.....just glad I'm healing......glad I will be OK......and going forward with life. I'll make some life changes, mostly diet and excercise. I'm still me....I'm who I am and will proceed forward.

All through High School, I seldom dated.....not by choice...I asked a lot of girls out, but they always said "no". These weren't the hot girls...or the cheerleaders....just average girls at school. I was kind of a "dork", I suppose.....but I wasn't really bad looking....I had a job and a little money, and a nice rig.
Recently I ran into one of these girls at a local restaurant......40+ years after High School....I'd had a huge crush on her for almost two years. I gave her a big smile,and spoke to her......And yep.......she didn't recognise me and had no idea who I was....
Some things never change.............
