Mundane musings on positive experiences It's the little things that matter. I had an appointment today for a "cut and color". The salon somehow screwed it up and my regular stylist wasn't there. They did however have someone else who was available. She was amazing. The stylist I had been going to had been doing my hair since 2010 when I started this journey. She knew I wanted a feminine hairstyle but we never discussed why.
This stylist started with all sorts of questions you'd ask a woman, about my hairstyle, and my eyebrows. She was impressed that I shaped them myself and then pointed out that she also did makeup if I ever had a special occasion. She then proceeded to really consult me on my hairstyle and the results were awesome. I hope to post some pictures this weekend and I may be on my webcam Saturday night.
When I left the receptionist called my hairstyle "pretty". These seem like trivial things unless you are living this. Every time someone uses a term that people don't normally say to men, it makes me feel connected to the world as if I'm not just an anomaly but a real person. Truth is, I felt pretty.
I even had a male clerk in a store say "thanks sweetie" as I left with my purchase. Again, if you were born female, no big deal. but for a man to say that to me felt good. It was just a pleasantry, but it wasn't something a man says to another man in a retail situation.
I'd be lying if I said I was fully passable - I'm not. I've at least made it to the point where people almost never use male pronouns. Occasionally they say ma'am, but many times the just don't use them.
As I've said in my profile, this has just become a lot more real for me. I updated my Facebook picture and now all my friends can clearly tell who I am. Those I care about have been very supportive.
It's been an amazing two weeks for me. I've not done as much on this site since I've been doing it in the real world. I still want to stay in touch with everyone and as always welcome your comments and shared experiences!
Love,
Jamie 100% real, 100% full time!

Had an amazing time! I met lots of nice people online, but as usual had to eventually disconnect when I got overwhelmed with chat windows. I try to respond to everyone, but after a while that becomes impossible. Met a nice guy from France online who looked like Daniel Craig (the "new" James Bond).
Here's a picture from my webcam session. A little more risque than most of my posts, but I'm pretty happy with how my breasts are developing.
All my love, especially to my friends and fans,
Jamie

First time on camera in a couple of weeks I turned on my webcam tonight around 9:00 PM and chatted with a few nice people. I always try to respond to anyone who sends me a message, but after a while I couldn't keep up with all the messages. If you sent me something and I didn't respond, please accept my apologies.
A dear friend on this site asked me earlier today what I'd be wearing but I wasn't sure at the time. Below are a couple of pictures of what I had on. Hope you like them!
Please give me some ideas of what to wear next time! I'd love to get suggestions from people who enjoy watching me and reading my blog. Instead of another poll, please suggest things you'd like to see me in in the comments section below. I'll pick the one I like best and post a picture of me wearing it here. Please be as specific as possible, like shoes, tops skirts, even makeup. I love challenges!
I love reading comments and getting emails. Thanks to all the folks who have emailed me or commented on my profile pictures or the topics in this blog!
Love,
Jamie

Girl Next Door Glasses / No Glasses In an earlier poll I had asked what type of woman was ideal and the girl next door is in the lead. I thought I'd link the two with these two pictures. Which do you think is more "Girl Next Door".?
It's kind of an over the top outfit I have on. I'd never go out wearing over the knee socks and Mary Janes. But for here, I guess there's not fashion harm done
Love,
Jamie

Glasses I sometimes wear glasses to see up close and actually posted a picture in my profile with me wearing them. Made me wonder what folks think about glasses in general. Sexy? Nerdy? Something else?
Below are six pictures of me wearing three different tops and with or without my glasses. Well, one I'm just wearing a bra and wrap
Please vote in the poll that follows. If I get 50 people voting, I'll also add the topless with and without glasses pictures.
Hope you vote
Love,
Jamie

Just got off camera @ 11:00 Hi everyone, I got a later start than I expected. My sister called me right when I was about to go on and we chatted a while (she just passed her Nurse Practitioner certification. Yay!).
I chatted with lots of nice folks and hope I'll hear from some of them. I love staying in touch with the people I chat with.
I showed off my new outfit (see the picture of a model wearing it in one of the earlier posts). It's a lace top but I used it as a very short dress with thigh high stockings and "come fuck me" shoes
Here's a picture from tonight. Not as pretty as on the model, but still I like it! I also posted a nip slip on my profile wearing the same top!
Love,
Jamie

Sexy new top! I received a package today with a beautiful new lace top that I'm looking forward to showing the next time I'm on camera. It's pretty revealing and I can't wait to see what everyone thinks! I'll probably wear it this Friday. Hope you like it!
Love,
Jamie

The shoe post updated I was shoe shopping online tonight and I thought it made me think of something I'd like to share.
I've taken such an even and gradual approach to transitioning. The laser treatments took three years and that was always the backdrop to every step I took. As the shadow faded from my face and it went from rough to smooth, my wardrobe also evolved. Now nothing I wear - at work, or anywhere else, comes from the men's department.
Not to say I show up at the office wearing a short skirt and stockings. It's all age and work appropriate for any woman. Same in public where I also add things like jewelry, more makeup and lipstick.
I've still yet to have the "going out on the town" moment where overtly feminine clothing is acceptable for any woman, regardless of age. That'll be the moment I confront the world head on. That's also the reason I've not accepted any of the very kind requests I get to meet in the real world. I have to experience that moment by myself before I experience it with a potential romantic partner.
Now back to the shoes. For me, the measure of how "feminine" shoes for work are is how much of the top of my feet can be seen. That ratio has increased quite a bit in the last year for me. Now I'm buying some new ones and I have to decide how far I want to take the next step. The will resonate with some of you reading this and seem silly to others but it's actually very serious for me.
After they arrive, I'll post a picture of what I chose
Love,
Jamie
UPDATE: February 6, 2015 - my new shoes, if anyone cares
Picture below, with jeans. I think these make a statement of femininity. Would love to hear from you on what you think

Great hair day!

I had a great "hair day" and fun on camera Warning- only my girlfriends probably care about this post.
I finally think I found out the right way to do my hair. After shampooing and conditioning, I towel it dry as best as I can, and then blow dry it to the point where it's 75% dry.
I then apply a root lift product as I completely blow dry both the right and left sides, avoiding any product on the top of my head. I then style it the way I like it and only then apply root lift to the final part line. A quick blow dry and it suits me.
I use a big round brush to straighten the hair while blow drying. Works wonders!
Most girls learn this stuff from their mothers or their friends. Many of us are forced by circumstance to just figure it out. Any of my GG readers might think this stuff is obvious but it isn't. It takes trial and error, and in my case, a good stylist who has hooked me up with the right products.
Same thing with makeup. My goal isn't to look like a caricature of a woman. I give props to the drag queen community for their flamboyant interpretation of the feminine look, but what I really want is to have strangers view me as a woman and then move on.
Today I had a perfect day. Everyone I encountered out in the world just took at face value that I was a woman. Nothing special, but also nothing unusual. I can't wait until that translates into the confidence to actually go out and meet people on this site. It's one thing to not have strangers notice your flaws, but entirely different with a possibly romantic encounter.
I've had several folks want to meet me in person and the day is coming soon when I'll say yes. For the GG's on this site, I would think you're very cautious about the first real world encounter. There is real danger involved. My friends in the trans community also know the extra level of danger given that there are a lot of people who would hurt us.
It's interesting that there aren't that many folks out there who would ever admit to being interested in trans people and yet the transgender porn industry thrives and I get lots and lots of requests to meet people.
Still, life can't be defined by fear. I hope I can have a few meaningful encounters on this site, and someday find a real partner that shares my values and also values me as who I am, not the words on my birth certificate.
These times, they are changing.
Love to all,
Jamie

Hi Everyone I ordered a navy blue corset camisole and it arrived this week. Thought I'd try it out on camera. A snapshot is attached. I love blue. It's my favorite color. I really wish I had blue eyes instead of brown
Maybe I should dye my hair blue
All my love,
Jamie
