Ahhh, nothing like lying on a cot in a cabin in the woods, the almost full moon out the window and blogging on what my friend [blog jazzdlight] calls my voodoo phone.

The lake is less then 25 yards away.

And in the next room are about 15 trying to keep quiet. lol.

So what are you doing this weekend?

My life lately has been about organization. Trying to get organized at work after a big project so I can start concentrating on the next one.

Need to get organized for my divorce. There is lots of paperwork to get together; documentation of all the financial stuff and the like.

And then there is the house. Selling a house provides a wonderful opportunity to get rid of all the junk that has accumulated. And also to organize the mess that gets created over the years.

Quite a lot of organizing when you put it all together. but it will bring a sense of peace when it's all done. Cleaning and simplifying can be very theraputic.

Starting fresh in a new place will be nice. First time living alone for me. That will be different.

Just a long road to get there. It will be worth it.

So I guess I am doing Spring cleaning in a major way.

Do you do the whole Spring cleaning thing? Open all the windows and let the fresh air in? Have you started yet?

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Oh, and it's officially Sat.

This is S. Ranger reporting live from a cabin in the woods. Signing off.
See you all on the other side of the weekend.
Cheers Mates.

A while back in the not too distant past I began the adventure of sleeping nekkie. As for many the winter months see a break from crawling under the sheets wearing only a smile.

With the warm weather last night I began again.
I swear the number of erections I have in the night increases.

Now it's time for another new expression of freedom. I have never on purpose gone commando.
Well today is the day. Yup, a commando Virgin of sorts. I have gone part of a day sans underwear but never started out the day that way with the intent of remaining that way.

Now I know for some of you it is an every day occasion. And you may have started this a long time ago. Guess I'm a late bloomer without bloomers (yeah I know it's a feminine term but I'm taking poetic license here). lol

Enjoy the visual in your head,

I noticed something over the weekend.

At the top of our blogs it now shows how many people have us on their Watched List.

That's pretty kewl.

And did you notice the ability to restrict blog entries so that only members, and not the whole Internet, can see them?

That is also kewl.

So how about the "Send Flowers" feature? Have you used it? Have you received any?

Sorta Kewl. You have to use points. I got points somewhere along the line but haven't received any since. Guess I have to review the rules.

What do you think of all these whiz-bang things?

I'm beginning to see symptoms.
It might just be an epidemic.

I may be afflicted with "Deadly Sperm Backup"

Well I don't think I would ever let that happen; anyday can be palm sunday. lol

But as we all know it's not like the real thing. Although coke says it's the real thing it just doesn't satisfy the same way.

OK, enough silliness.

It is officially Spring and we all get that extra boost of horny and the passionate need to get Laid.

So how 'bout you? How are you feeling? Exhibiting symptoms? Bursting at the seams? All lubed up and ready to go?

What would you do? Pregnant?

So let's suppose your almost adult got pregnant. Also suppose she decided to abort the pregnancy. We'll leave the moral discussions for another time. In addition, she is on Birth Control. So the pregnancy was not the result of being reckless

The question I pose is: Do you ask her to foot the bill for the procedure?
Yes, It's part of the consequenses.
No, she should know you are there to support her.
No, she shouldn't feel it is a factor in future decisions should there be one.
No, she's gone through enough.
No, it's not her fault and she shouldn't be punished.
Yes, It's what a responsible adult would have to do if no one was there to bail them out.
Not sure, need more info on the history of the .
Yes or no but for other reasons.

I have this friend. She and I talk most days. Yesterday, as typical, I was LMAO about some silliness. I began to think that we laugh a lot. It's one of the times I really do LOL.

I also find myself laughing at things on TV when I do find time to watch.

Sometimes when laughing with a group of friends I will snort just for fun.

Another friend, when she really gets laughing, sort of goes into a wheeze. We all love it and kind of try to get her into such a state. She loves it too as she keeps track of how many times it's been.

Some quotes about laughter:
Laughter is an orgasm triggered by the intercourse of sense and nonsense. ~Author Unknown

I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose. ~Woody Allen

Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit. ~Author Unknown

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. ~e.e. cummings

Laughter is an instant vacation. ~Milton Berle

Laughter is the shortest distance between two people. ~Victor Borge

What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul. ~Yiddish Proverb

When people are laughing, they're generally not killing each other. ~Alan Alda

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward. ~Kurt Vonnegut

A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book. ~Irish Proverb

Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on. ~Bob Newhart
Do you love to laugh? Long and loud and clear...?

Do you make any silly noises?

Isn't it fun?

Enjoy,

A message from Pizza

<---- My pizza plate.

As I finished my pizza on Sunday I noticed the oil had dripped onto the plate in the shape of a smiley face. How odd I thought. What were the chances of that? Was it a message? Maybe it was an evil grin; the pizza did not sit well with me.

So have you ever noticed something strange? Did it turn out to be of consequence? Do you believe in signs? Or is it just our nature to look for connections in things where there are no connections?

Have a wonderful Monday all.

Happy St Urho's Day

St. Urho's Day is celebrated on March 16th, the day prior to the better known feast of some minor saint from Ireland, who was alleged to have driven the snakes from that island.

The legend says St. Urho chased the grasshoppers out of ancient Finland, thus saving the grape crop and the jobs of Finnish vineyard workers. He did this by uttering the phrase: "Heinasirkka, heinasirkka, mene taalta hiiteen" (roughly translated: "Grasshopper, grasshopper, go to Hell!"). His feast is celebrated by wearing the colors Royal Purple and Nile Green. St. Urho is nearly always represented with grapes and grasshoppers as part of the picture.

Who knew?

Well, everyone have a Happy St "somebody" weekend!

I'm starting my celebrations with Lunch today. And I suspect I will blow the froth of a few.
Cheers Mates!

And lets all hope the warm weather returns to NJ post haste.

Short Sleeves, Sexy Legs and Motorcycles, Oh My!

Spring is creeping up on us.
It got into the 80's today in Central Jersey.

Driving around at lunchtime I saw women showing off their sexy legs. Folks in short sleeves. And of course the motorcycles are coming out of storage. People are getting half nekkid for crying out loud. And it was only Wednesday. Wonder what Thursday will bring.

When the Rita's Water Ice and Stuart Root beer stands open it is a sure sign of the warmer months.

Parking outside the Stuarts Root beer stand and having tray service was an awesome dinner out when we were . Reminiscent of the 50's diner with the rollerskating servers coming out to your car; Ala Happy Days. Of course you could always choose to sit at the picnic table or go inside for counter service.

There wasn't anything like a real steak sandwich and root beer right from the keg. The steak was not the thin preformed stuff of today. And maybe it would be a root beer float which we called a black cow.

As it got dark the fire flies would be out as we headed home.

But now I hear it is supposed to go down to 20 in the next day or so. How rude! And no fair!

And what's this about rain? Funky weather.

St. Patrick's day will be upon us in less than a week. The parades have already started. Did you go to any this past weekend? The past two years I went to one of the early ones down the Jersey Shore.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?
I was considering whether I want to go into NYC for the parade. Already have evening plans although the specifics aren't set. Just know I'll be somewhere. Last year went to a pub where they had bag pipers playing occasionally.

Mutt that I am, it turns out I am mostly Irish.
So, are you Irish? Do you get into the spirit, Irish or not? What ya going to do?
Enjoy,

You know it's going to be a bad day when the clouds flip you the bird.

Good thing I didn't see that today. lol

Remember as a looking up at the sky and seeing things in the clouds?

Ever do it as an adult? Well, we've all done IT! I mean look up at the clouds silly.

Hope you are having a great Monday.
And no coffee has been spilled (ahem, miss Gem).

This is so not right.
Roger was in trouble. He'd forgotten his wedding anniversary.

Debbie was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that, when I step on it, will go from 0 to 200 in less than 6 seconds!"

The next morning, Roger got up early and left for work. When Debbie woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough, there was a box in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, she put on her robe, ran out to the driveway, and brought the box into the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Funeral services for Roger have been scheduled for Friday.
Wishing everyone a happy weekend and that your significant other always remembers important dates and NEVER pulls a stunt like that.

Half Nekkid Thursday

Since I haven't done an installment recently I thought I would do just that.

What we have here is a Wrist with a watch on it.

Once upon a time...

There wasn't a watch. Seems my watch had broken. Must have been in my early twenties I'm thinking. And it so happens that the woman next door noticed the absence of a watch. Inquisitive as she is she enquired about it. Enquiring minds want to know you understand.

I explained about the broken watch. She wondered why it hadn't been replaced and how I was existing without one. You see, she regarded it as a necessity. I told her, actually I had come to enjoy not having a watch. There was a sort of freedom.

Fast forward many years later. Maybe 10 or more. I had not seen much of her being on my own and living here and there. Busy, you know the drill. So, one particular day I happen to be visiting. She notices a watch on my wrist. Surprised she asks WTF? I explain that I needed one for various things. Hiking, snorkeling, etc.
She then tells me, to my surprise, that she had not worn a wrist watch since that day long ago. And, believe it or not, she still does not wear one today.

So, how dedicated are you to having a watch? Is it a necessity to know the time? Is it a fashion accessory? How many do you own?

I have three right now. One utilitarian, pictured. Has the stop watch, the alarm, the count down timer, etc. Two are definitely fashion accessories.

Happy Half Nekkid Thursday!
