How do they come up with this stat? I am completely baffled. If you don't know what I mean you need to be at what I would call the 'root' of the blog ( click here postingnick ) and you will see this stat with links to other blogs on the right.
No complaining about the other listed blogs, I consider myself in good company with the names on the list I see on my page - but what is this %? how the hell do they come up with it?
My guess is some weird mathmatical calculation that looks at either my watched blogs or keeps track of the other blogs people have read perhaps?
Does anyone know?

A mini-rant......
Watching tv today in the background, there was a 'rogue wave' which hit the side of a cruiseliner off the coast of the US. The current report is that the wave was around 40-45 feet high, broke 2 windows on the ship, and flooded several cabins. Bumps and bruises but no serious injuries.
Now people were being interviewed during this new item and some seemed very mad at the captain. The wave hit AFTER a storm - and I just did a little research and found out that a two week study in 2001 by the European Space Agency found that, "Even though the research period was brief, the satellites identified more than 10 individual giant waves around the globe that measured more than 25 metres (81.25 feet) in height"
So lets not blame some poor captain (with 17 years experience under his belt), lets blame fate and realize that when you take to the sea you are always at the whim of mother nature. Life is not always as cushy as some would like.
Sometimes it seems the media really wants to find the 'sensational' side of every story.
Btw, the ship was never in danger of sinking or capsizing.

Given the choice which would you prefer?
Personally I guess if the sex was only going to be 'so so' I would have to opt for taking matters into my own hands so to speak. Yeah, its selfish but hey, I don't have to worry about anyone but myself that way

Currently there are four posts of mine sitting in limbo.... five if you include this one. 3 posts lost their picture in posting so I re-adde dthem, sending them off to the back of the blog line. One had a spelling mistake in the subject line that was driving me bonkers, so back to the censor office for that one too.
This one will be back in line with them as well. I am guessing it will show up hmmmmm maybe by 5pm eastern USA time (prove me wrong please!!!).
I am not even going to attatch a picture to this one, perhaps that will speed things along.
Can't wait until I can go back to making a post about life in general and not just my frustrations with posting - lol

I made two blog posts yesterday.
Neither was able to be viewed until roughly 30 minutes ago......
I uploaded pictures with both of them and yet they are now not there. I know they might stick if I re-upload them, but I am also thinking that the post will not be visible again until some magical guy sitting in a room reviewing every post sees & re-approves them.
With the short lifespan of blog posts (the majority of views for mine seem to happen in the 1st 24 hours) is it worth me re-posting them or just being happy the posts showed up at all???
Decisions decisions..... lol

I have helped run a public discussion forum before so I have a little experience with deleting posts, and know it can really honk some people off.
I have seen many people, including myself, complain about posts not making it on the site and not knowing why.
I have figgured out a couple reasons and wanted to share them. I doubt Affairlook will post a specific list of do's and don'ts because that would at the same time let creative bloggers know how htey might get around the filters and still say exactly what they wanted.
Rule #1 that seems pretty obvious. If you want to tell a story about a sexual encounter where you or someone else was under say 18 years of age - DON'T list the age. I had a fellow blogger on here that had submitted a post where she discussed losing her virginity. The post sat for over 12 hours and was not showing up. I suggested deleting the exact age she was and within an hour it showed up.
Rule #2 Don't post detailed discussions that include too much talk or naming of instant messaging programs. I watched a comment of mine dissapear two times and finally removed 3 letters (the name of a popular IM program) and replced them with XXX. Thats all it took to get the post accepted.
There is a lot of common sense, what makes it funny here is that this is a site that lets a TON of stuff that would not be allowed elsewhere slide through without any problems at all

Way back when, sometime last year (PB - pre-blog), I was surfing profiles by picture I guess and viewing the ones that caught my eye. For me that usually means clicking on the ones with an actual face picture.
One particular profile was for a lady somewhere in Texas.... and there was a long elegant testinmonial on her page. Less that 3 or four profiles later I came across a woman in the Chicago area with the same testimonial by the same guy. I wrote to the woman in Texas on a whim and she replied that she knew the guy had posted the same one all over the place.
Again tonight I came across that testimonial, but reading it tonight I caught something I had never seen before... I am trying to figgure out if it is a typo or intentional. I suspect he wrote it and missed the typo - then just cut and pasted it to all the women's rofiles in his network.
I guess this guy considered his testimonial some kind of award or something.
His membership is now gone so I have taken the liberty of lifting the testimonial off of one profile for you reading enjoyment.....

Just joking, men and women can both be 'catty' but I was thinking of one particular thing when I said this. Allow me to begin todays ramble..... then tell me if men and women are equally 'catty.'
I have a lot of female friends, I am one of those guys that seems to be able to communicate more easily with women than men. I know a lot of women who also say they have more male friends than women. Perhaps this is why we are here, who knows.
Anyways, something has happened a couple of times recently and I wondered if it was the way most people are or if it is a tendancy more towards women.
Example #1 - A month or so ago I was talking to a woman whom I was formerly involved with. She ended the relationship but we have remained pretty good friends. While I do not really care to hear the gorey details about her current relationship she occasionally asks me about my 'love life' and what is going on with it. So one day I sent her off a picture of a woman I had been involved with, just a face picture and the woman happens to be in her early 30's. My friends response was that she looked older than either of us. Why say this (and I didn't agree but what is the point in arguing?)???? To me it was a little dig, and part of me wondered if it was jealousy or something. You shouldn't really 'knock' someone like that when you know the person you are talking to has been involved with that person.
Example #2 - Last week, while talking with another woman that I have known for a very long time (but never been more than friends with) I related the story of a woman I had been involved with for a very long time. Curious she asked if I had a picture of her. Again I sent off a picture, another G rated shot. This womans reply was that the pictured woman wans't very attractive.... (fwiw the woman in this picture had been told by some she could appear in playboy - I mean she isn't bad looking at all). Again I was perplexed, why say bad things about a person when you know the person you are telling these things had a relationship with the pictured person??

Ok, part of it I am sure is jealousy, or is it cattyness? Do women (in general) feel the need to knock other women? I just don't get it.
As for myself, I have many times been shown pictures of men sent by women, while I may not reply with 'wow he's handsome' or 'what a hunk!' I never would reply with 'he looks so old' or 'he looks kinda trashy.'
Now my bet is the women that reply here are going to agree that they do not do it either, but we all know some do. Being a guy I don't have the same viewpoint as a woman would, can you clue me in?
Is this the norm for both sexes, or so you think women are more prone to reacting this way?

I wanted to give a shout out to [blog carriebu] , a couple who just moved to Michigan from Georgia. I have viewed them several times on Affairlook and they are one of the few people that send audio while camming. It improves the online viewing experience 100 times.
So if you are a paying member you might check them out, non-paying members can watch the webcams but only for a few minutes at a time. When they are on you can be sure to be entertained by these two. I don't mean just in a sexual way, they can sit and talk to people for long times answering all their pages as they pop up on the screen, although I will admit its a pain to come up with coherent 25 character messages (if you two see this just remember "ltns = long time no see" )
There is my tidbit for the night. Hope your weekend continues to be good!!

Late last night I read a members blog post and commented. She had related a story about a relationship she was in, had seemed to feel used by the other person to some extent and was talking about how she was going to be in the future.
After reading it I felt like commenting because I too had been in an online/offline relationship where the other person, in my opinion was using me and treating me unfairly. I posted my thoughts and marked the thread so I could go back today and see if she agreed or disagreed or whatever.
This morning I check in and the post was gone (my comment, not her original post). Knowing how Affairlook can lose some posts, I re-posted my original comment, word for word because it was still in my browsers cache.
Now a few hours later it is gone again. I am now pretty sure this person didn't like my comments for some reason and decided to delete them.
If you make a heartfelt post about how you are feeling on a certain issue in a relationship, be prepared to see how others feel about the same issue. I may re-post my original comments here and let you guys tell me what about it would make it worthy or being deleted.

oh heck... I am topicless this morning, unlike the ladies I have no e-mails to sort through and dissect.

We met at a local park, not a first meeting, we had met before, kissed before, but that was it.
It was October, the leaves had not yet begun to fall for the most part but they were turning and it was very scenic. Since it was a weekday were we basiclaly alone, a couple other cars were in the lot but it was a big park so it didn't seem like anyone else was around.
The park was on the side of a steep riverbank so there were deep ravines and a lot of stairs. We walked hand in hand along the pathways, stopping here and there to talk, hug, kiss. I mean I have kissed a lot of women over the years and she is in the top two if not number one, at least from my perspective. We continued on and headed down a flight of stairs, there were a couple of landings and we stopped at one. We had a good view of the river and she leaned over the railing looking down.
