I'M ON HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, as of 12pm today I am on holiday! It did start out in a painful fashion though, had a waxing appointment which I have just returned from. Added a new area to the menu of waxing this time and let me tell you, its actually not as bad as I've heard! Very strange to look at now

But enough about my hairless parts Lets just celebrate my time off work!

Oh, have I told you I wont be around from Monday? I'm popping down to England for the week but I wont have internet access so dont disappear guys and girlies, I will return!

I have three exs, one of whom has now become a best friend of mine. The others...well lets just say we dont speak! Especially the most recent one who creeped me out by telling me he was outside my house at midnight to blow me a kiss goodnight a week after we split up. To me that is just a tiny bit wrong...

I love how there are no awkward moments or any other hidden feelings(or at least I hope there arent) between me and ex/friend, he knows me better than some of my longest friends do and is great for giving the male perspective on certain dilemmas I have in my life.

So I guess what I am pondering tonight is whether any of you have any lasting friendships with any of your exs? If not, why not? Would you ever consider it?

Or, if you were to start a new relationship with someone and you found out they were still friends with an ex, what would be your thoughts on that?

Yikes...that was my first thought when I woke up this morning! Maybe I should explain a little more?

A few weeks back I had a recurring dream about me having a baby. It was always the same, I had a baby, we were playing on the floor of what I assume was my living room with loads of soft toys. There would a bang as the front door was opened then closed, I would look excitedly at the door and say "Oh look, here comes Daddy"! A male blurry figure would appear and walk towards me, bend down and right before we were face to face...I'd wake up Booooooo

So I had this dream maybe 4 or 5 times before it totally stopped(thank god), but last night I had yet another baby dream. It was different this time cause I was pregnant in the dream and the baby was my most recent ex's. Conveniently the labour part was emitted from my dream, the next thing I remember is that I've named my Kizzy and I was refusing to tell my ex that I had given birth

What the hell is going on? I cant be getting broody already...far too young for such thoughts!! I know I do want at some point but certainly not anytime soon.

Anyone else having stange dreams at the moment?

Well lovely guys and girlies of blogland, it seems like the time might be upon us that Affairlook may be no more! A scary thought/possibility huh? Well doe_ra_me 's post explains it much better than I ever could so check this out: [post 1785696].

BUT people, please do not PANIC(reference to HHGTTG…maybe ) this is merely a precaution for the future cause there are some of you out there that I would really miss if the connection was completely lost!

Party Or Night Out?

Well the old laptop is alive and kicking again...just! I darent move it about too much cause I think there may be a loose connection down in the depths of it.

Anyways, I am at work this morning, a lovely morning shift on a till(woohoo)! Damn place never stopped, it was totally hectic but that is the way I like it! Makes the time whizz by...

So there is a very brief 5 minute lull where I manage to chat a tiny bit with a work friend of mine. She was asking me whether I wanted to have a party or just a night out for my birthday. Firstly I was thinking "What? My birthday isnt until April, why are we discussing it now?", of course when I say this I am met with a shocked expression as if to say well its about bloody time we started organising!

So what I've said for now is that if I do decide to do anything at all it will be a night out cause parties are always so much pressure and I remember the stress from my halloween party last year. Especially when it comes worrying about people actually turning up, that is my biggest fear!

To be honest after last weekend I'm not sure I want to drink with my work friends again though...

So what do you prefer a party or just a night out?

Here Come Some More Problems...

Yeah I am having yet more problems with my laptop, but this time its serious. The damn thing wouldnt start up at all yesterday, now it switches on but there is a message saying "Operating system cannot be found".

Now I know there are some wonderfully technically gifted people out there and I always appreciate advice BUT I seriously doubt my own abilities to be able to solve a problem like this.

So I have a tech guy coming out tomorrow afternoon in order to see if he will be able to fix it for me(its actually the same guy that solved my wireless networking problem the last time).

Any comments that any of you lovely guys and girlies have left me in the past couple of days, dont feel like I'm abandoning you! I have read and appreciated them all but it may take me a little while to getting round to replying to them...you can understand that right? I'm working on my ancient desktop pc and its getting on my nerves already! I hate sitting in a stupid chair in a stupidly cold room with no stupid tv to watch!

But I digress anyways, chummies just letting you know the situation and hopefully I will start to reply to comments this evening. Bare with me people!!

I MADE SOUP!!!!!!!!!!

Ok this does not like a big deal but for those of you who are in the know...I am a non cook, its not in my blood therefore I never try!

I was pushed and pushed(lovingly)to try cooking and finally gave in to trying to make soup! So after work today I went to ASDA and bought everything I needed to make Cream of Watercress Soup.

It was really yummy, my dad liked it as well! Two empty bowls So its something I will definitely be experimenting with from now on!

Oooh I feel really happy, happy that I've managed to accomplish something!

Right...it seems that I can not do sex related posts anymore for fear of little or no comments so here we go, back to normal service.

Swearing/Cussing

A recent survey discovered that 83% of people in Britian swear everyday and I dont mean just once or twice, apparently the average amount of we swear in a day is 14 times! Of course the survey produced one of the obvious conclusions, men swear more than women but who didnt know that?

So, is TV to blame? The rules of swearing on screen have certainly changed over the years and everyone is much more free about what spouts out some celebrity's mouths. Jamie Olivier's lastest series included one episode where he managed to swear 23 times in an hour.

Right...enough of the boring stuff, what are your opinions on swearing?
What do you think when you hear young swearing in the streets?
