For discussion, is this different for daydreaming about eating food or seeing yourself enjoying a vacation? I see them all the same way, as if it's something I'm writing.

If I'm really daydreaming a fantasy, I'm picturing ME in there. Not what it would look like from a camera or someone else's perspective.

The poll function could be improved by having the ability to add photos, and also to make the post sticky? Probably a lot of work in doing that all the same, and perhaps not worth the return? It's a good function otherwise.

Andrew, Good poll..Interesting question.. How do folks fantasize when they are imagining themselves making love or on vacation ? food ? I think that we see ourselves in different ways but when we imagine in 3rd person I would guess we see all the daydreams whether about food, sex or travel the same way. Picturing ourselves enjoying it. Hope the poll software is working the way you need it to. Ana6  I done made the devil a deal He made me pretty He made me smart

Except, as a matter of interest, viewing in the 3rd person (as if TV screen) indicates disassociation in psyche terms, whereby one is detached, distant (the best mode to view your problems in and brain emits less 'stress related' chemicals). Viewing through 1st person (own eyes) indicates one is fully associated with the experience, the brain will emit more 'feelgood' chemicals in this mode, so this mode best kept for nice stuff. So I would be associated when contemplating all the good stuff.... and disassociated when pondering problems or, for example, people I don't like

What about fantasizing about your significant other with someone? How about that choice. Different strokes.

Thank you, Andrew, for clarification. I don't use poll, because i can't add a photo in the post. But if you change that, i would definitely love to use it. I heard you said that is bit in the future, but please, don't forget about it. I will be patiently waiting for the wonderful idea to happen.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 2nd person. I don't think that way (I only think in 2nd person during conflicts), but there must be people who imagine being somebody else fucking them ...or imagine themselves fucking another one of themselves. Why not?
