Very interesting story! I have heard that about doctors providing this service and inventing the first vibrator due to overwhelming demand; but didn't know the first vibrator was steam powered. Seems to me it would have been much easier to teach the men about the clit. I'm sure in the beginning Doctors wanted the business all for themselves.
