Quick update

I am not going to write anything pithy or lengthy. I may not be on this site much longer, I have yet to decide. For the most part, it has been a frustrating and fruitless experience. That is partly my fault, because of my age, location, and the preference to host. Also because what I want seems to be in a very small niche of human needs and wants.

The vast majority on the site are players and fantasizers. Few are truly serious about a real live connection and play session. Those who are serious, among the men, are mostly seeking a mutual boyfriend and lover experience. Nothing wrong in that at all, but it is not in my wheelhouse. One person I thought I had connected with, twice failed to show up and then failed to give any notice that they had been entangled in some other situation. Then, about two weeks later made contact 'out of the blue' and wanted to just drop in. I was busy that day. This person did that again a week later, although I had asked them to give me more notice time. I could have accommodated them the second time but I was a bit piqued at their failure to give due notice and said no and disconnected from further contact. I would have agreed to the short notice and drop in had we previously met and established that a drop in would be welcome. At the time, I considered it rude and ill mannered and no way to establish a connection and good will.

I have revised my profile descriptions as a result of this episode and I really hope I have been very clear about what I wish to accomplish. I hope that doing so will improve future contacts. As for the person to whom I have mentioned above, I am sorry we did not get past this hurdle. If you are reading this, I would consider a 'do over' and try to give it another chance.
