In what city is this bridge? This is Cincinnati, OH. The bridge crosses the Ohio River. This was the prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge.

 I use to live in the Detroit area. So there is the Detroit River. It connects Lake St Clair with Lake Eire. Good guess. This is a bridge that was built/designed by a famous bridge designer who also built a more famous bridge in the New York City area.

 The architect is John A. Roebling. He also designed the Brooklyn Bridge
