people i can't stand all of the kardashians - sorry but really? this is how you make a life? oprah winfrey - i know, i know. she's a saint. she's the best. she does all sorts of good, all sorts of places. can't stand her. the mittster - weak, weak, weak. ladies, just try to think about having sex with him....am i right? uh huh. al gore - i just want to slap him to see if he reacts. does he actually have a range of emotion beyond a-b??? maybe he's an alien. i was going to say sarah palin but i kind of like her. she's oddly attractive to me in her crazy ass way. i don't want her anywhere near a position of power, but as long as she stays in alaska, i'm cool with her. donald trump - bad comb over, no affect and the personality of a slug. although i find his quite appealing. snork jerry falwell, pat robertson - for much the same reason. hypocrites all. and making money off the one thing that should be free to every human being....faith. people who make money selling you books on how to make money or how to find love or how to love yourself or how to stop hating the fact that you hate yourself........aargh...and the people that buy them liars unctuous, sweeter than candy people who are ever so glad to see you and then WHAM, talk bad about you as soon as you walk away people who do not like dogs......something wrong with them, don't trust them i could go on but then you'd start to worry about me and there's no need. i like most folks. i really do. and even if i don't, i'm quite pleasant. i'd never spit on a kardashian. not that i'd get the chance. at least i don't think i would. pretty sure i wouldn't. no, i wouldn't. well, maybe kim. she's off the charts. You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

Good Evening Wicked E. My list of people I detest is shorter, perhaps because I simply ignore most media if I am at all in disagreement with their pronouncements. Faux News is always off, but then I don't watch TV anyway, so I miss out on all kinds of opportunities to be unhappy with the grap we're fed. I have a special contempt, however, for holier-than-thou hypocrites, whether of the Falwell-Robertson ilk, or of the Red-robe wearing variety. There are good people out in the world, doing "the lord's work" (in the sense that they try to care for their neighbors, and give freely of themselves) but those fine people rarely make the headlines and never command the huge incomes that the hypocrites consider their just rewards. Religion was invented to explain how people who are so obviously "bad" in this live can also appear to prosper, when we are taught BE Good, for goodness sake. The idea of eternal damnation neatly closes that logical gap, hence we have to have religion. And unless you're fluent in at least one dog language, you are uneducated. I have delightful conversations with an old Springer, and a young Lab, and later, an older Lab yesterday. Springers have an almost G-spot-ish affection for proper ear rubbing! Labs are simply easy. I never liked Snidley K. Whiplash, Oil-can Harry, Benedict Arnold, or Count Dracula. Everyone else is cool with me. They just irritate me from time to time. I've never been irritated by a dog. Roosters, geese, and snapping turtles, yes, but never a dog.

The Kardashians aren't even enough on my radar to dislike - I steadfastly try to ignore them. Hm...I'm grasping here. Maybe certain mediocre musical groups, like Nickelback. Or, what about the meatheads at the gym who see me in the weight room a couple times a week, but can't be arsed to acknowledge me with a smile or a nod?

I can't tell you how freakin' hard I've tried (most of my life, too) to not "dislike"--hate is such a dangerous word--virtually everyone of any consequence. Most of them provide little incentive necessary for my continuing efforts, though. And some others dragging about on the fringe... just end up caught by the vortex. The average Joe doesn't make my list; because the average Joe generates no energies of any practical effect upon the overall course of life. The ones who do--politicians; most sports figures; talkin' heads; et al--turn my stomach. (Well... most all of them, that is. I would leave Dana Perino off that list. Maybe Sarah Palin, too--I think it's her "accent" that makes me wanna rise to the occasion; that... and, of course... her ass: of which, I might add, I get quite insufficient viewings.)  I know nothing of the Kardashians & I want to know nothing of the Kardashians. Now, Donald Trump (despite his disgusting hair-doo and sluggish personality) oughta write a book on how to make money--lotsa money... or, at least, how to hook up with his pseudo-royal Euro-like daughter. Actually, I think a chapter in his money-book would be sufficient. After all: without no money, you ain'ta gonna be hookin' up with Ivanka.  Solar... BTW: The only way to speak proper dog-lingo is to get down around their eye level. Layin' on the floor seems to work well. Otherwise, they just think you're talkin' down to them; and they don't take kindly to down-talkin'.

I'm with Solar on not hating people...I have great disdain for a few though. I'm with you on the Kards...who gives a flip about them and who in the world would follow any advice from them? Blech! I'm with you on people who aren't dog lovers...I don't trust them either. To Joie, I would also add people who don't wash their hands after they go to the bathroom...OMG, how disgusting! My list would probably be long too. Fake people have got to be on the top of my list, which is why I put BHO on the top of my list of disdain.
