when magic leaves
when magic leaves your auntie witll cry, doting as you pack. your absence felt well in advance your dad will be early fidgeting at baggage too concerned with the timing of things. i wonder, do you know how we orbit you? i suspect you're well aware. our own sun burned out years ago leaving you a moon to share not vampires, or malevolent we watch only that not lost. our own lives now sagging at the corners dimming as you brighten. forgive us our possession we've lost another way. we do not wisn to live through you we've done all that ourselves turn if you will, though, when parting and toss that lively grin this way. for some reason the spacing of my poem will not hold and it just somes out the way it shows up here. ah well. the words are here at least. You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

It's a wonderful, heartfelt poem and I hope you share it with "magic" one day. Never ignore those who care for you you will have lost diamonds while you were collecting stones

May you see each other again soon. Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale Her infinite variety. Other women cloy The appetites they feed, but she makes hungry Where most she satisfies. For vilest things Become themselves in her, that the holy priests Bless her when she is riggish. ~~ from Antony & Cleopatra
