fucked up the ass
fucked up the ass some people enjoy anal sex. this post has nothing to do with that this post has to do with bureaucracy and governmental spending and a bunch of people who have no field experience making decisions on how to spend money to solve a problem they have spent five years exacerbating. AND it has to do with those same people calling all the people who have been dealing with this problem, day in and day out, pinching every dime until they made it scream it was actually a dollar, who cleaned up the vomit on the stairs and the shit in the bathrooms and were cussed out by someone who was so drunk or stoned they could barely stand and when they called and asked the damn governmental agency to help them by by supporting some boundary was told that "legal" would call them back...and "legal" never did into one room jus to say...in essence...you are fired. AND despite all of that and because the people who work in this field actually give a flying fuck, they managed to not only make a difference and house over 3 THOUSAND families in a year. while the state has managed to fuck it up and still have over 1500 families living in motels which looks "bad" but until the press made this an issue two months ago, everything was just fine and we were the golden making a difference. Now....well, now.....we suck. AND now....we are being de-funded. the state reckons that if they take all the money they give us to do this work and use it house the families in the motels, well... they'll look good. and fuck the rest of the homeless that are out there. and god forbid you should need any services. what you get is a space and ...oh, well, that's it. a space and do try not to be mentally ill or have an issue with your or the landlord, or god forbid need medical care or anything. so, let's see.............it's two months later... when you haven't paid your rent and you get evicted, and you show back up. and the state says no deal.......you no longer count as homeless....so technically, you no longer exist........really? really?? you were housed. it's done. the statistic counts. you have been counted........... AND i have to close a shelter that has successfully housed over 60 families with a 2 year stabilization rate in the last 6 months. okay........ so what? in two years they will have to do this all over again and they will have to start from scratch and they will have to find shelters again. and this will cost millions. because non profits are FUCKING NON PROFITS and we cant keep stuff just hanging around while we wait until you realize how stupid your idea is. and the 11 people i have to lay off? add them to the the 19,000 homeless in Massachusetts. and thanks.........great job. You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

tears for you my friend... I don't understand how a nation that has so much, can continually ignore those most in need. I'm so sorry.

all all of this because of faux news? saying we can't afford to raise taxes on the wealthy! Once we are all again in serfdom or slavery, they will figure out that no one can buy their products. But then if you are the lord of the manor, who cares if the serfs are starving! All I can offer, Wicked, is my righteous indignation. That and $3.75 is good for a coffee somewhere.

Let see, oui-oui... Ya got yer Bank Bailout at $800,000,000,000. Check Ya got yer 19,000 homeless in MA. Check Ya got yer 49 other states. Check So... If we assume those other 49 sates are relatively equal, that makes a total of 50 states with a total of 950,000 homeless. Check If we take that $800,000,000,000 and split it up between those 950,000 homeless, that gives us $842,105 (and some change) per homeless. Check The median annual income in the US is about $50,000 give or take. Check That would allow for a median homeless annual income to run out just shy of 17 years later. Check. And there wouldn't be any homeless in the US... for just shy of 17 years. Check Look on the bright side--you'd be out of a job (and the only homeless person in the whole country)... for 17 years. Checkmate Now, ya gotta admit--you're glad we got us a Federal Reserve Banking System... right? Solar...

'Disappointed this had nothing to do with anal sex, WE! Fear not, my friend. I'm sure that the O-Man will come to Governor Patrick's rescue once his advisors catch up with him on the golf course and inform him of this situation.

I'm so sorry to hear your news. I'd like to suggest that you spend some time writing--letters to the editor, and your representatives, and to charities and other agencies that may have some grant money--once you've cooled down and have formulated a strategy. You and Charlie might want to revisit the woods and spend some time doing some creative thinking and writing. Never ignore those who care for you you will have lost diamonds while you were collecting stones

This made my head hurt...and more importantly, my heart. Everyone in your field does heroic work every single day and I admire the hell out of you. Always tell the truth Use kind words Keep your promises Giggle and laugh Be positive Love one another Always be grateful Forgiveness is mandatory Try new things Say please and thank you Say your prayers Smile ~Author unknown

I find it sinful that in a country with so much wealth, we can manage to throw away those less fortunate. Plenty of money for "things", not enough for people. Guess that's why I tilt so far to the left politically.. Bob Peace is my sister. wgf And please...the name is Bob...not clit. watch [blog clitlick4you]

well that news sucks, we. crappy way to end the week. I'll keep you in my prayers as you are looking for a solution--who knows, maybe if you can find a new, private charitable organization then you won't have to be so depended on the damn politicians in the future. There is a LOT of money in Massachusetts and it is a pretty liberal place--surely there is someone that will help? I hope so. You will find that us "heartless capitalists" actually do care about the less fortunate among us. We all need help at some point in our lives. Even us "heartless capitalists". Generally we "heartless capitalists" feel that government(s) should not restrain the engine of our economy growth, so that it can create wealth and grow the size of the economic pie, thus providing plenty of money to fund social and humanitarian needs. The only solution to your problem and the problems of this nation will be found in the "kick-starting" of the American economic engine. And we can no longer afford to restrain that powerful engine with all of our various regulations and creative taxing schemes. If we do, there will be even fewer jobs for Americans, there will be a further reduced tax base, our infra-structure will deteriorate further and we will not be able to properly serve those who are less fortunate. An idea for Massachusetts: For every dollar donated to a homeless shelter, a half-way house or a sheltered workshop by a business headquartered and doing business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, that business shall receive a 100% (or even 90 state income tax credit. With this approach, the dollars would flow directly to the agency serving people, thus saving the administrative costs at the level of the commonwealth. With this approach, a business could form a direct partnership with a homeless shelter, half-way house or sheltered workshop. Out of this long-term mutually beneficial partnership would flow other positive outcomes such as work opportunities provided by the business, good PR for the business and a beneficial affiation with people being served with private industry. 'Just a thought, WE. Dammned, I'm getting suspiciously "progessive" for a "heartless capitalist"! 'Wishin' you well, WE.

I know how much you hurt for your guests, and now your 11 other family members have to suffer the cuts of the knife too. I'm sorry you're having to endure so much blood loss...(after all, money for a non-profit is blood.) Hopefully, caring people will hear the cries and come to the rescue for all those in need. God bless the wonderful folks like you and those you work with...and all your guests.

Reading about the funding being diverted to pay hotels makes me want to get on my "privatize it" soapbox. The only thing that I see the privatizing push doing is enriching the friends of those in power and leading to lower wages for the people that actually do the work. We cut the cost from $1 to 95 cents and now the worker are paid 85 cents while the 'hero' business owner takes 10 cents for providing the service and I'm sure passes along a few of those pennies as campaign contributions... Me thinks that perhaps I become more cynical as I age...

Fucked in the ass dry I'm a inner city teacher and the bureaucrats are screwing up education. The feds and state governments keep blaming teachers. grant it there are plenty of poor teachers around. But there seems to be more poor politicians who should stop fucking education in the ass and take care of the children in my classroom.
