I told the PM. two weeks ago that I was putting the last roll of T.P. in the restroom in the office area. ( I left a dated note on her desk. ) That she needed to buy more so we'd have a supply on hand. Yeah that was two weeks ago...went in last night to clean the restroom and folded over paper towels were hanging from the roller. Well, it's no skin off my ass if she wants to wipe with paper towels. I can't put out what I don't have in supply right?

It's not like I use the restroom myself. If the need arises I just stop home and use the facilities. It's one of the perks of working the same place where you live. I can sit as long as I need to and not worry about people following me in afterwards and being offended by lingering odors. The thing is we also have another restroom in the Gym/Laundry area. That roll is being fast used up as well. I can just imagine the mess I'd find when it's gone. Some ( not all ) of our tenants are not the cleanest sort to begin with.

In the past office supplies, paper, cleaning chemicals came out of the office budget. The former PM would get the things needed to make the place run smoothly. All I needed to do was to tell her if we were running low on something, the next day we'd have more as she'd make a trip to the big box store to buy some after her work day. Most times I didn't even have to tell her we were running low on something, she knew what we had in stock and replaced it accordingly. Since the new owners took over the place the supply side of things has fallen off. Sometimes I have to scrounge to find chemicals to do my job. Garbage bags, toilet bowel cleaner. T.P. and the like often left behind when tenants move out, Yeah I grab that stuff up when I see it, too use it where I need it. ) I don't know what it is...a failure to know who is responsible to get the stuff, pinching penny's, or what? I do know that it's not my job to go off to the store and buy it. I don't have an expense account, nor access to one, nor should i need to be scrounging just to do m y job. Some days I feel like the house cleaning cartoon woman from Family Guy ..begging for Lemon Pledge. Only to be met with that "look" from the people who are in charge of getting the things needed.

Like i said...it's no skin off my ass if we don't have what we need. I do the best I can with what I got. I can do nothing else.

Off to shower now.....

Those paper towels are going to clog up the plumbing if they aren't careful.
Have a great day!!

Well, who OWNS the property?
I would never tell you to poison your boss and take over her job.
Because females are all one hundred percent perfect, just ask one.

Who is John Galt?
