Or as some of you lucky Devils call it Hump Day. Not so for me...I haven't humped or been humped in ages. (Do blow-jobs count ?) No the only way I know it's Wednesday is the fact I have to take the weekly vitamin. Why weekly? Only my Doctor knows for sure. After the last blood test she put me on an eight week course of Vitamin D. You know I've heard that you can get the D vitamin if your out in the sunshine more...that got me to thinking....why not just have the doctor give me a prescription for eight weeks in Maui? Sun and surf instead of sunshine in a pill. An added plus being on vacation for eight weeks might lower my blood pressure. I spent my day yesterday in a one bedroom unit, now most one bedroom places I'm usually in and out. But the departing tenant had been living there for some time. Needless to say but the place was a mess, not only cleaning wise ( looked like they never cleaned the place ) But damage wise as well. The wet wall between the bedroom and the bathroom looked like it had been leaking for some time, the leak coming from the unit up stairs. The bedroom side of the wall was missing plaster and copious amounts of old paint layers had come off, the bathroom side was worse. Holes in the ceiling, and the walls from water damage. I don't get it..how someone could let a leak go on that long to do so much damage without calling maintenance to have the problem fixed? It's not like the leak was caused by them, or that they'd get charged to have the problem fixed. How could they even stand the smell of it? As it is the floor under the toilet in that unit will have to be repaired as well, while cleaning it I noticed the water leak had weakened the sub floor under the tile and the toilet looked like it was trying to sink through to the basement. The kicker here, if you can believe it, the P.M. is letting people ( prospective tenants ) view the unit! Yeah? That seems like it'd be a good idea, not! As it was two young women came by to do just that while I was in there yesterday. They came in the front door, took a glance at that bedroom wall ( you can see the bedroom from the living room if the door is open ) and quickly turned around and walked out. I don't think they'll be applying to rent it. Well, the problems with the walls and ceiling will be repaired... as always...but, really. Is is a good plan to let the tenant see the unit before the work is done? I don't think so. Any who, Time for me to jump in the shower.

I knew a woman who lived with her daughter, daughter’s boyfriend and her two grandchildren. The apartment was such a mess I wasn’t allowed to go in. The grandson flushed a toy down the toilet and plugged it up. They went at least a year that I knew her without getting it fixed because they didn’t want the landlord to see how bad of condition the apartment was. Might have been your tenants reason. Got to wonder. Make it a good day. I am.

The manager is crazy to let people see anything but a perfect unit.
