This Site Has Changed

Non paying accounts aren't members their silent guest. Cant reply back IMs or PMs. Cant view profiles. Is there anything I can do or is this a waste of my time? Not paying til I know it's going be worth it...

 You could set up a private blog post mailbox. Instructions and an example at [blog BiggLala]. Many bloggers have them. You could also set a sticky post with your profile (maybe in your mailbox). Just be aware that your first post often drops words or parts of words, so a work around is to post "see first comment" in the post and then the body in the comment.

Given that we're a capitalist society, I find it difficult to *hate* a business decision that attempts to squeeze more money out of customers...oops, I mean *maximize profit*. That said, I can say that as a customer relationship management strategy, I haven't felt much love among members for this policy.

 Maybe, if by doing your blog, etc, the site might gift you a Gold membership.

It sure is different than it was on here a few years back.

To really do anything on this site, one has to pay.
