Testimonials?

Has anyone on this site ever seen a testimonial?
Have you ever left one?

I'm looking at member profiles, and I keep seeing a spot for testimonials, but I have never seen one. That got me thinking, what would go there?

Does anyone take that item seriously?

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you have received or given a testimonial.

 They were common several years ago, but I have not seen any since. I would write testimonials for the persons who would write one of our experience.

Have you ever left one? ... I have , a number of times.

I'm looking at member profiles, and I keep seeing a spot for testimonials, but I have never seen one. ... People , in general , are not always observant.

I DID write them for persons who wrote a testimonial in my profile. I did not write them unless the person/couple wrote one first, or requested that I write a testimonial.

 I have a real testimonial on my profile from a woman I met here. I've had profiles in the past with multiple real testimonials. I've left them for women in the past. Not for a long time though.

Thanks... Yes, testimonials don't always have to be about a meeting.. they can be about how someone felt after interacted with you when just chatting.

 I have a few on mine, some from men I have met and some I have not. Some times its been used as a way to communicate by standard members. I do pay attention to them...it can give a hint about the person.
