 Wow... that sounds like a nightmare. I guess retreating to your room just perpetuates their views of you doing nothing. It's a no win situation.

 I'd say having bronchitis is a good reason to lie around the house for a while 'til you recover. Sucks that your family members won't see it that way.

 you can pick your friends, you can't pick your family. i hate to resort to using a cliché but sadly it's true. i'd tell you to buck up, sister, but it won't change how you feel. i'm glad you're here though. i literally searched for you the other day and got that auto reply about your 'profile turned off'. if it's any consolation, lady_jayne, my sister's are bitches too.
