Credit=honest person?

Do you have good credit?

Good credit says a lot about a person. I have thought about performing a small research project.

Is an individual with good credit also an honest person? Good Lover? Can they go hand in hand?

Some of my female friends have indicated that their male companions, that were dirtbags and treated them like shit also couldn't hold down jobs and stuck them with bills. They were also known to cheat on them more often.

A lot of companies will take a look at your credit now before they hire you.

Maybe the most important permanent decision, we hope, of our lives shouldn't be totally left to chance either.

My credit score is about a 750 what is yours?

mine is in the 800's and CA is not allowed to look at credit scores many states do for insurance and such, its generally thought of as a low FICO
is indicative of a dishonest person...Why a female would be with a man she had to pay anything for shows the woman has no self respect for herself

je ne regrette rien

Is an individual with good credit also an honest person? ... Not necessarily honest.

Good credit = good person.

Bad credit = bad person

Either could be a honest person. "Honest" doesn't always mean "Good".

For instance, if you're seeing or dating someone, and they have bad credit? Probably a good idea not to plan anything long term with them.

Good Lover? ... No. A person with bad credit could be a good lover, but to stay with that person more seriously would be a mistake.

Can they go hand in hand? ... No. It would unwise to apply the logic formula: If they have good credit, they must be honest. Good people are not always honest people.

Some of my female friends have indicated that their male companions, that were dirtbags and treated them like shit also couldn't hold down jobs and stuck them with bills. .... Absolutely! Your female friends loved having sex with them, because they were exciting , unpredictable and aloof. Treating them like shit, gets you laid, it does work. Being a good friend, brother figure, gets you friendzoned.... no sex.

They were also known to cheat on them more often. .... Of course, but they loved the sex with them.

A lot of companies will take a look at your credit now before they hire you. ... Also your social online activity.

For the State of California:
Employers may use a prospective employee or job applicant's credit report during the hiring process only when the candidate is being considered for:

A managerial position
A position in the state Department of Justice, as a sworn peace officer or other law enforcement position
A position for which the information contained in the report is required by law to be disclosed or obtained.
A position that involves regular access to sensitive personal information, for any purpose other than the routine solicitation and processing of credit card applications in a retail establishment
A position in which the person is, or would be a named signatory on the bank or credit card account of the employer, authorized to transfer money on behalf of the employer or authorized to enter into financial contracts on behalf of the employer.
A position that involves access to confidential or proprietary information or trade secret
A position that involves regular access to cash totaling ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or more

So basically the above information can be interpreted to justify towards most positions that have any employment value to them.

Since I am a retired IT (Information Technology) my specialization was in network security and administration they would not just look at my credit they would also want to look at my criminal background data as well.

Anyway I agree if a woman or man, for that matter, lets someone walk all over them they have bigger problems than credit.

800's is awesome!

make sense to look at credit score in jobs that require security checks and backgrounds. Other states were using it to "redline" so to speak, on car insurance homeowners insurance things that wouldn't be necessary except to make assumptions

Thank You by the way for the interaction on this subject.

I do agree with you more than you know and had a situation where my bad credit was affecting my level of security, my job. I almost lost my job over it I got caught painfully by the bubble burst thing and it impacted my credit. I had a little problem trying to maintain my TS clearance.

Back to my original point relationships are not so cut and dry they can be very complex. Even when attempting to use a credit rating when evaluating a possible relationship it doesn't give us all the tangibles. I suppose someone could argue about trying to use logic where emotions and other variables have more significance.

Wouldn't it be great if there were some kind of relationship report that we could look at when evaluating a possible future with someone.

"Okay so I am looking at your relationship report here and it says that you tend to drift after 6 months...hmm very interesting."

One of the biggest reasons for divorce other than cheating and abuse of drugs are issues with money.

Anyway thank-you again for breathing life into my blog. I do try to write about things to try and generate discussion.
