I looked at that Sears catalog as a kid. Now my private life no one knows about. Not many on here know that side of me. When I did work I had two friends who knew about my Submissive side but no one else did. For the most part I was quiet and still am today.
It's nice to have friends who you can trust.
Quiet is a peaceful place to be.
And everyone HERE knows. I guess you can trust us. We all have our kinks. ❗❗😎

I really love this post because:

1) my dad worked for Sears for most of his career (a store manager at the end) so of course we ALWAYS had a big Sears catalog in the house.

2) I've often felt like I lead a double life with a straight job but an un-straight life after hours. My first job out of college, I was a bank examiner yet spent weekend nights listening to punk rock bands. Much later it was the combo of having.a straight job but being on this site and Fetlife.

I understand what you mean.
Dja ever get a chance to race through the empty aisles, after store hours? Isn't there something special about a public place when no one else is there?
Bank examiner? Wow... If they only knew.
I was always shocked when I'd accidentally let something slip and that co-worker would pick up on it. Not like I was hiding anything.
I think many of us are just so careful about what we share.
Bank examiner? 🤔 hmmm... I'd have outted you.. lol 😂 😮
Dja ever catch yourself and bite your tongue on someone else's remark?
If they only knew...
Yep.. Sears was a classic! 👍

First, being in a band is awesome, the situation with the lady was akward for here, I know the Sears catalog was finally, but the band, the women that got dumpped, flirting, and then she a business woman in the morning, is materiel you use on a script on "Skinamax"! You can tell a hell of a story!

The stuff we used to come across while playing was classic. So many tales to tell.
I'm sure - if you've ever been to a wedding - you could relate.
People have a tendancy to let their hair down at parties and weddings, don't they? 🤔
Thanks for popping in. 👍

I think every Canadian adult remembers anxiously thumbing through the Christmas Wish Book. Later it was the regular Sears and Eaton's catalogues. As a young adult, they were replaced by Consumer's Distributing.
Anyone who has met me will confirm that the person I present on this site is the same as the one in the 'real' world. My closest friends know that I have met people through an online site...they just don't what 'type' of site I use

You def write "food for thought" stuff Paul! Hey, and you played in a band, absolutely great stuff! As for your "public versus your private image", guess I am that way - and I'll be Cinderella again when at home, barefoot jeans and t-shirt free! Fun to be able to dress up and look good as well cos it makes the being comfy soo much more relaxing - that make sense?! I've been wondering if "Reader's Digest" is still around - used to be hounded by em but not any more!

..... And always 'hold onto all those sexy thoughts'!

True about all those catalogues and the Xmas wish list they provoked. I never really cared if I got them as gifts. It was fun to look at the pics.
So, you've met someone? Good for you. I hope it works out for you. 😊 👍
The same here as out there? I imagine that as we mature we care less what people think about us and what we should keep to ourselves. I'm sure there's a drawer of stuff you prefer to keep locked up. 😶

My profile has more recent pics of me on my kit! 👍 😊
I don't know about Readers Digest. Online perhaps? 🤔
Did you not get those big store catalogues sent out your way on your side of the pond?
Yep... It's good to keep a few secrets to yourself. No secrets here though... lol 😂 Yep EVEN here, I'm sure most remain secretive. No? 🤔 Happy Sunday. 🍷🍷😎

I said I had met people that doesn’t mean that I am currently seeing anyone. And no drawerful of hidden items, unless a selection of favourite CDs 💿 in my bedside table counts 😊

No, it doesn't mean you're seeing anyone.
No... it certainly doesn't. Especially if they're too far to touch.
They - those cd's - only count if you're fearful of misplacing them.
And ya wouldn't do that, woodja? 🤔
Nope...🍷🍷😎😘❗❗

'Perverted', is a state of mind and I don't think people will judge you here.
Enjoy your an anonymity. And feel free to pop back in here any time.
Cheers 🍷 🍷 😎 ❗

Independently earthy? 🤔
Lol... Ooops... Where did I leave THAT impression? But those bags don't really have much that I can relate to inside.
How many aluminum windows or cheese burgers does one really need?
It's rare I find anything in those sacs. Do you? 🤔
