Yes, if I had a trusted partner, I'd be willing to go without. Conditions - we've been monogamous together for at least six months; both of us then get tested and both of us are STD free. Remarkably that condition has not yet been met!  I did have a FWB who lasted for four years but we had made no promises of monogamy, so he always wrapped up (and had no issue with doing that).As for the drip...I suppose it's an argument for douching? I never seemed to have time - often it was a situation of quickly having morning sex and then rushing off to the Saturday morning exercise class, or whatever. I do not like condoms because of the feel like you said. Another thing happens when the guy loses his erection trying to put it on.  Then it takes more time to get him hard again.
