Humour Me... Said The Mime... If She Could Speak... 🔥

Saturday morning I was at my buddy * FrankeeZee's house, having coffee and talking.

Frankee's habit, of employing aspiring artists, found us trapped in the living room. He'd hired a mime to do the housekeeping. Silly mime kept putting up walls. It took us forever , to find the door.

"Hey Paul... Ever meet anyone, who admitted to you that they had NO 'sense of humour'?" That was Frankee's question, as we sat down in his kitchen.

Come to think of it - nobody, has ever said that to me. EVERYONE thinks they have one. We ALL believe we're funny, don't we? FrankeeZee took a sip of his espresso and spoke...

"The brain, is our largest sexual organ. When I meet an intelligent woman, my Spidey sense goes off and I get seriously interested. Women get the same feeling about men. But... there's a limit to how long discussions - about Karl Jung... or 'The Beatles' influence on contemporary music - can go on for. You know what I mean Paul? Ya need to laugh."

I nodded. I knew what he meant. Humour... that's the tipping point. It's what completes a couple ; even a casual pairing. FrankeeZee's thoughtful lecture continued...

"If she's laughing at your jokes and witticisms and you're laughing at hers. It's that next step . The one that never grows old or withers. Laughter... is an affirmation that you both get... each other. It's like that special hug, with a really tight squeeze... and a warm kiss. A long one... with eyes closed and breathless hearts."

I looked at FrankeeZee and blinked. Had he , been reading a book?

"I'll tell you what, Paul. Let's say... she has twinkling eyes, sultry lips and a cute smile... and alluring curves - interesting ones - and her skin is as soft as satin ; that's , not enough. How long can physical qualities alone , interest a man... OR a woman? Seriously ... how long?"

FrankeeZee looked at me, paused thoughtfully and replied to his own question. "Maybe eighty, or a hundred times? Three or four years - tops?"

I looked at FrankeeZee and blinked again. Everyone, probably has their own number.

FrankeeZee had made a good point. Someone's laughter, echoing softly in one's ear ; it's what men and women seek, don't they?

That , and sex ... AND... a way out of the kitchen.

Frankee's mime had shuffled in, to clean the kitchen and was putting up... another fricken wall.

Is a sense of humour important to have? 🤔

I'd say very important!Nothing worse than staring at each other in bored silence. 😶
Although... I've been guilty of having slept with a woman, I hadn't found funny at all. Go figure...

... OR... is it - that I just didn't get her jokes? 🤔
Hmmm...
Why did I sleep with her? I'm shallow. She was persistent.
She asked... 😊

What HAS FrankeeZee been reading?!

I think finding the same things funny is important for anything long term ….with friends or lovers. My late husband had a sense of humor like the Three Stooges. Next one, I'm hoping for an upgrade to the Marx Brothers.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

This was quite an interesting read, FrankieZee is always full of amazing questions. And you know everyone does have a sense of humor whether it be dry or funny. I find sarcastic humor very funny and very enlightening. Its good to use especially if your not trying to hurt someone's feelings although getting your point across.

I love a person who can make me laugh, and it always a plus when it's someone you have spent years with and you both are either thinking the same things or saying the same things at the same time. But that's just me with my two cents what ever it's worth.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Monday with some great humor..?

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

For a one night stand humour not essential, for a long term relationship I think its a must.

For me it isn't necessary for a guy to be funny as in always "on" and telling jokes. But, someone who has the ability to make sly observations...that I love! When the two of you can have a shared experience of making fun of something. Yeah, maybe I'm a little bit of an elitist snob!! LOL.

True... about long term. Even with friends. Do you avoid any friends, because they're just so boring? 😮
Three stooges? lol
Marx Brother's? 🤔 Ooops.. hmmm..
I like other stuff as well... 😄

Ya think... EVERYONE... has a sense of humour? I've met en some pretty boring people in my life. And even some of the ones here - ya just can't joke with them. They're so serious and they misconstrue everything anyone says. Ya know what I mean? 🤔
Thinking or saying the same things... ; what a great feeling, huh? 😊❤️

I love humor. Laughing is the best medicine for most things in life. I spend most my days laughing and talking dirty. I can make most words or situations and turn it dirty. Oh, it makes me laugh!!

I miss intimacy.

Mr.Voice is filling my intimacy bucket these last few days but I miss having a lover to talk with and laugh with.

I know what you mean. I'm in THAT same boat, many times.
I educate them.
We start off slowly with... The Three Stooges... Then we ramp it up to the Marx Brothers... and Seinfeld... blah blah blah.
Yep! I get it bro. lol 😂
Go for it! 👍

For real?? A mime?!? That's fascinating. I have a unique sense of humor, lots of sarcasm and inappropriate jokes at the wrong time. If a guy can't laugh at my funny, no matter how good looking he is, I just can't be with him.

You're not missing much. Many Mimes are mysterious... yet mostly silent. 😶
Unless you poke em in the arm.

Nurture? True... ❤️
Ooo... 'glass walls' ; I like that imagery. 😊
Ya do have to work at things dontchya? 🤔
Yep.. that's true, for sure.
So have have to keep expanding your repertoire... at the same time?
Some people... find a niche and then follow THAT blueprint, for a lifetime.
I imagine.. if you're not creative enough, you're stuck with what you know? 🤔
I like that word - nurture. Don't you? 💕
