Why Us, Why Me?

I've put myself last most of my life, I'm not alone many do. My , my husband out of love. To my work and its demands, and to government.

Do you have your check in hand? Their money for taxes is already gone! But it's like that ringing in your ear, you learn to live with it.

Being a tax payer all those year it's a slap in the face to learn I/we each owe 167K, just to settle the debt.

But let's stand back and look around. There seems to be a pecking order and sadly mine and most of your asses is in the dirt. I see it like so.

1. Government itself. ... Raises and bonus in good times or not. Proof? When was the last good time? To me a good time is what you can do after you've paid your bills and covered your responsibilities. When was that last time government did that? Beats me but not recently.

2. The rich. ...they're no fools, buy politicians for pennies on the dollar. Hire smarter people the those who right the laws. That's easy enough, hey ! Yeah you, want a job! Wait, can you count to ten? Great! Done deal, moving on

3. Big Corp...do you know little o' me paid more taxes then GE in 2014? And I don't earn a lot! If you paid a buck then so did you! Why? Oh, because a few decide for all if us. They get credits for being clean, somehow that seems dirty to me! Even with that, who's going broke? GE as they spend their time getting out if paying their fair share instead of running the business right.

4. Other Countries.... Who don't we give money to? Most know China holds Trillions in our bonds. A bond? Well that's the piece of paper we give promising to pay them back with interest the money we borrow to give away! Hummm that don't sound smart, I'm sure they'll help us pay it back. Don't start a countdown yet or start real high. Sitting? Some if that free money goes to China. For what you ask. Well for their infrastructure, so they don't have holes in their roads like we do... Got shocks?

5. The poor... Now I might loose some of you here but let's see. I want to help the poor, I have a heart but let me focus on what I know for fact. My and hubby saved for years for a house, bought just right in the market. Good for them. The house is great, big and beautiful just line the rest if them. Behind them in a 3400 SF home lives a woman, by herself. Not sure how long she was there before them but she was still their five years later when they moved. Her house is section 8 and she pays 108.00 for rent. I'll take two please!

We give food stamps but nobody ever checks. Somehow the tiny store where you smell a fart before its laid sells over 200K in food per month, that's a lot of pickles. Here in left ville aka California we feed the before school at lunch a snack after school and some take food home. On top of enough Food stamps to feed them from home. I don't want any to go hungry and I know some do. Let's find them and help them and not the abusers. Give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach him to fish and...... Oh how we forget. Hey you on the couch, want a free smart phone? Sure you can play games on it! We'd never treat you like a lessor person. Oh what, sorry the worker here is trying to tell me something... Oh you don't have a smart phone...oh you can't afford it? Well man quit you job and get one! Damn, do I have to do everything around here.

6. Me/us well most if us. See that's what made our country the best ever! Our large middle class and it's that/us how pay the bills here and what do we get for it. No, I'm asking as I have no clue. But on the bright side I'm retiring soon so my 167K turns into 67,900. For that's the share of debt for every American. You know it would hurt but I'd write that check if that changed things. I love my country and my fellow Americans but it wouldn't help, they'd just waste it too.

I've collected one week of unemployment in my adult life. No housing, food or postage stamp. Those who need those things I want to have them but need is the control word. And government isn't mom and dad it's you and me, let's once again try before we scream for help. Most would find they're in only two feet of water.
