Dear Me

Listening to someone on a dating site trying to give you advice is like the mainstream media trying to be unbiased.

Delete and block all condescending assholes. Their inadequacies are showing. Daring to shame you for being smart is NOT attractive.

There will be someone that fits the bill, eventually.

Love,
Me

Without knowing the whole context of what occurred we can only assume. That being said, let us assume you didn't go to this dating website seeking advise. Therefore it would be understandable that unsolicited advice would upset you.
Advice is something that someone bestows on someone else as to what they would do in a certain situation, not what they are suggesting the other person does. It is an opportunity to help the other person make a decision. So you cannot really give yourself advise. You can only make a decision, a choice.
I enjoy a good conversation as much as any intelligent person. I also find it illuminating when the other person is honest and let's me know what they want and don't want in a conversation.
So if you did not go to the dating website for advise, then say so.
