 no you cant sue if you hit a cow horse pig are sheep if those signs are posted that means open range but the owner of those animals can sue you see when those signs are posted your on open range the animals are in the wright ,kinda like a kid in a school zone with there crossing an no passing signs are out .but if you hit a ranchers prize bull on a dirt road thats not open range are on the inyerstate you can sue him
