What's Your Long Term Plan? I've never had a "5 Year Plan". That strikes me as being kind of funny because I make endless lists and plan my calendar like a boss in order to be organized and analyze my day-to-day. I feel lost without these tools. So you'd think someone like that would have a long term plan. But I don't. I never have. I never planned to get married, I never planned to have and I've never set goals for myself. I have mixed feelings about that. I'm going to be 48 in a couple of months and I find myself regretting not having . I've enjoyed living my life as lone wolf. But I've realized how lonely I am a lot of the time, even though I have my pets and my friends and my family, what I don't have is my rock. My partner. My person. I was married once, not long ago. My ex-husband recently asked his girlfriend of three years to marry him. They're well matched and I'm happy for them. But here I am, on Affairlook, on various other sites, looking for....what? I honestly don't know. Come on, girl...that's disingenuous. I know what I'm looking for, I suppose. But am I more afraid of finding it, or not finding it? Two things I know for sure: 1. If it weren't for Affairlook, I would have no sex life at all. 2. I do NOT want to be 50, 60 or 70 and still on Affairlook. What's your long term plan? |

I have a one week plan, or a one month plan or maybe as long as six months. Only until the next event, concert or vacation. I know I do not care to be married again. The past few years have been littered with fiscally poor decisions and a job I have begun to hate. Not that I don't like what I do...but the company I work for has sucked the life out of everyone who has worked their asses off for them over the past 20+ years. Corporate America sucks...greedy CEOs and gutless managers. Ah, but I digress... So. while I would like to find another employer and move to warmer regions, I find it has been difficult. Not only finding the right job but selling my biggest poor decision (my house) and moving away from family. So, for right now, my "extended plans" are somewhere between next weekend and a spring getaway. I agree with your #1, Affairlook certainly helps on cold winter nights. #2? I keep telling myself that at some point I need to cancel my Affairlook...but, maybe next week/month/fall.

Many will relate and find themselves in similar scenarios. As for love/romance/sex life, I would have hoped to find a life partner within 5 years, but I would gladly accept an active healthy sex life with a strong fWB or two from here

I think you might well be your own "rock" -- and that is something to be happy about too. I am still learning the difference between restlessness and loneliness. I too long for a plan to "work". Despite the lack of planning on my part, looking back on my life to date I am proud of having done some cool things. I bet you too have done a few cool things. I have always been a bit of a voyeur (more than a 'bit' actually) and sites like Affairlook provide a great outlet for that. I don't think I will ever want to completely leave the site. As I get older sex becomes more mental (sigh), less physical (but the plumbing still works mind you) , and so I find my use of Affairlook and similar sites just evolves with my interests and desires. Maybe I am just restless. But its great to have a home to return to from time to time!

You're funny and cute... I noticed that you posted this back in 2017 but u updated it today... So I guess you're still on here? Lol I just joined A F F in April 2018 for shits and giggles and had no idea wtf I was doing here. Turns out, notwithstanding the fudged up nature of the site - it's an entertaining place to pass the time. I figured out that blogging is something that I enjoy. Besides that, I've met some women who (go figure) wanted to meet me? (what's up with that?) Yep... Lol I don't know what to tell you. I don't use this site as my primary source of sourcing companionship. I find that the fruit department of my local grocer (avacado section) works great lol. Anyway... Hi.
