My Story- The Metro Man from Yesterday!!!

I went to Washington DC yesterday. I left my car at the metro station and went by metro. cause I want it to walk around the city. It was a hot day. I don't know if it was the weather. but I suddenly got a horrible headache in the afternoon. it was so bad that I couldn't even see. I was literally crying at some point. that is how bad it was. some of my friends say that it could of have been the heat of walking around the city under the sun.

Anyways, I was on the metro coming back home. big mistake cause it was rush hour. it was full of people. Headache still going. I felt very sick. I couldn't even see cause of the headache. It was so bad that it was even making me feel sick to my stomach. I got off from the yellow line to switch to a blue line. while waiting for the blue line. A very handsome guy said Hello. He look well groom, clean and professional. he appear to be around 30 to 34 years old. I later found out he was coming from work. He works for a law firm in DC. but he lives in Springfield. which is the next town from where I live. but the metro only goes to Springfield. that is why I had left my car there.

He said. I was in the other train, saw you there. you look very sad. Are you OK?. I said. no, no sad. I am just feeling sick, told him what I had. he said oh no. sorry to hear that. He offer me that he had Tylenol with him. I told him I been taking medicine. is not helping. and at this point I don't even have water. he said. come with me. there is a little grocery store right next to this metro station. or wait for me here and I can go get you the water. told him I could go with him. took 2 of his Tylenol and he handle me a bottle of water. we seat there for a little bit. waiting to see if my headache would get better. but nope. it was getting worse. I reached in my purse for make-up remover towels. and clean/removed my eye make-up, cause I need it to put pressure around that area to release the tension of the headache. cleaned my make-up with him watching me. for me to have done that. is cause I was feeling horrible. I would never clean my make-up in front of man. especially when I don't know the man haha. I told him I just need it to get home and rest.

We went back to catch the metro. we seat together in the metro and talk along the way. he sounded so clean. innocent and so caring. All tho I was not paying much attention to him cause I was sick. I still notice how good looking he was. I was just watching him talk. He said, Btw I am Matt. told me a little bit about his life. and ask me questions about my life, such as where I was original from and things like that. I told him a little bit. He said he was from Buffalo, NY.

We got to our station. he got up and give me his hand to help me get up. then walk out together. told me his car was in the parking garage there. I said mine too. he walk me to my car. when I got in. he ask me if I was OK to drive. that I could leave my car there and he could give me a ride home if I need it. I said no, that I was going to be OK. Told him Thank you for everything. He ask me for my number saying maybe we can continue the conversation sometime. I said, Really, after you saw me looking messy like this. with a bad headache and cleaning my make-up?. He said. I think you are a beautiful person regardless. He walk away to look for his car and I drove away. later on it hit me, that I don't think I even gave him my name. I don't remember. that is how bad I was feeling. I have never had a headache such as that before. to the point that today is another day, and I still have a headache. no lie. not as bad as yesterday. but still there as I type this.

My only hope out of all this. is to see him again. I truly hope he calls me. cause I did not get his number. now I regret it for no asking. but he has mine. I truly hope that he contacts me. I owed him big time. He was wonderful. he didn't even knew me and went out of his way to help me out and gave me his company. just like any old friend would. he was so caring, his words and conversation were so clean. now all I can do is wait. cause I sure would love to have a friend like him in my life

Things like this, Are the things that made me feel bless every day. cause it doesn't matter how bad things get. there is always someone there, even strangers come up to offer me a hand. like he did out of the blue and with out me even asking. those are the things that make me feel grateful to people and to believe in people. I believe in Angels cause I always feel protected by Angels not matter where I am. To me Angels walk among us every day. They are regular people like you and me. is a very beautiful feeling that makes me smile, count my blessings and said thank you every day of my life

What a touching story, Thalia.. It really does lift you up to be shown such kindness and consideration. You have that effect on people, though. They want to love you.

I hope he calls you too, and I'm betting he will. I would!

It is refreshing and warming to know there are actually caring people who are willing to go out of their way to help others.
I'm glad he was there for you and I hope you're feeling better now.
Perhaps another trip into DC when the weather isn't so hot to see if you can run into him again if he doesn't call?
Just a thought.
