 From the husband... I cherish you for the woman, the best friend, and the wife you are.

The first time I laid eyes on you more than 18 years ago, I was blown away by what I saw on your face... hope, anticipation, excitement, warmth, compassion, acceptance... because it was all for me.

The first time I held you in my arms... we fit perfectly and I didn't ever want to let you go. And today... the fit is even better... and how is that possible by the way? Oh who cares... it is, we're lucky, and I LOVE holding you

The first time we kissed I remembered asking myself... have you ever seen such perfect lips... such huge green beautiful eyes? The gift you gave was the beautiful moment you created as we lost ourselves in each other. I have always treasured what you gave me.

The first time we made love I lost myself in the heaven that is you. When you looked at me and said "Say it..." I already had... softly under my breath, afraid to scare you away. Scared? Because I finally had found the most perfect woman on the planet. But when you accepted my love and returned your own, I knew I had found my wildest dreams had come true... in you.

18 years later, still on our first date, we have traveled may roads together that most don't know exist... and even if they did, they would not have survived intact. But we did. Not only did we survive, we flourished. It was your strength, your compassion, your sweet nurturing spirit, your steadfast commitment and your fierce love for me, for us, that saw us through.

Today I stand here, the proudest man on the planet... because I am yours. You've always been exponentially more than "good enough", for you are everything to me. I love you... all of you. From the hurt bits, to the shattered bits, to the strong bits, and the tender bits... They are your bits.. treasured and revered bits... the sum of the total which is the beautifully magnificent... you.

Seriously? Mmmmm... absolutely.
