To feel alive

she holds me gently
I shiver in her embrace
she's my dream lover
Whenever I'm asleep
I'm in her arms

I spend my nights in heaven
And live my days in hell
Longing for the darkness
To feel her again
To love her again
To be loved

Night after night
It's always the same
We share surreal passion
Our bodies entwined
Lost in our desires

Knowing only hunger for each other
Then the mood changes
she holds me tighter
A soft kiss,
an unspoken promise
And a short sharp pain
As she bights into my flesh
Feasting on my life

Nearly taking me completely
And then leaving before dawn
Before I awake
But tonight is different
Stopping for a moment

she looks into my eyes
Her's are ruby red
Mine are dying
Taste me she whispers

Where I ask
With a razor sharp nail
she draws a red line across her heart
My head falls onto her bloody invite
