The very breath of you
To a still night summer’s air,
perfection appears not very far
while you gaze at stars in moonlight
a shadow of your silhouette, seeps through
the soft white satin gown you wear
with my eyes tantalized,
a river of desire beckons me
to hold this nights glory in my arms.

I exhale, the very breath of you.

You remove a White Rose from my lapel
With a gentle kiss on the petals
you place it in your hair
your hand sliding down to touch my cheek
enriching the intensity of the moment

I've become weak in your embrace
as I regain my strength through your essence
Ours is not only a moon laden with honey
but one that is bursting with fire
a place to get lost in you
with your head resting on my chest
the hours will take us to the glory of dawn

I inhale, the very breath of you.
