DIfficulties getting laid

Why is it so hard for a guy to get laid? I've tried going to bars and clubs. I've tried taking to women around town in stores and coffee shops. I've tried Craigslist and online sites. I refuse to pay for it and it seems that might be my only option. I'm a decent looking fellow (so I'm told) and people always say I'm funny and fun to hang out with. So what might be the problem? If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

 LOL, No, I don't wear the mask unless specifically asked. I don't plan on getting a hooker, it just seems those tend to be the only ones contacting me through the online things. It seems like I'm able to get to know people well enough and be able to have conversations and friendships with them, but nothing more occurs other than that. And the times I mention the possibility of wanting more, they either laugh or leave. So, I guess I just have to keep working out and losing the weight until I'm a specimen that is enticing to the opposite sex.
