"It's not as bad as it seem".

Hi, many on here know I suffer from depression. For those who don't I do. But, people that get know can't belive it, because I can make them laugh. People in my circle don't understand it. If a person is funny and can make someone laugh, this would be the last person with depression right? Wrong!

Some of the funniest people that maked you laugh and make you laugh had or have depression. Richard Pryor, George Carlin, and Robin Williams, Freddie Prinze, Rodney Dangerfield, these guys was some of my favorite comedians. They suffered from it too, who would had thought.

Modern day actors have it, Drew Barrymore, Drew Carey, Jim Carrey, David Letterman, Owen Wilson, The Rock, Lady Gaga, and many more. it's common. With me when things don't go as , it trigger my depression. I had bad day, but I do have some good days. I learn ajust. I'm here, so I have purpose, so I make the best of my life.

If you have it, your not alone. There are many here for you. Hell, I'll chat with you. You might have a few bad days, but things will get better. You are not alone! So if you ever feel you have no purpose, maybe your purpose is help someone who might need a friend, and let them know it would be OK!

i don't normally talk about my depression on my bookface. i hit a depression going to covid solo quarantine. it's why i left the city for the coast to be with SHERMAN. i didn't expect all my city friends to do solo quarantine. my hobby is dining out. so i also didn't expect the restaurants to close. but one friend later private messaged me that my disclosure made her decide to stop living alone, too.

i know there is sometimes no magic answer on what can make it better.
i've been doing a LOT of therapy and my shrink put me on an anti - depressant.
i hope you find a reprieve. XO!

Depression is something I have known for a long time. Sometimes we are powerless to help. Stay strong my friend.

I am so sorry my friend you suffer from depression, your not alone I know many people who do as well. And laughter is a great way to deal with depression. Look at Robin Williams he was one of the greatest Comedians and that's how he dealt with his depression.

You have named some of the greatest Comedians here and some I knew had suffered from depression and some I didn't know. I just think you should keep being you, and do what makes you feel good.

Take care and stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

A very common misconception that depression is mostly an introverts illness, isn't the case the old song tears of a clown just about covers it . In these worldwide troubled times depression is as likely to be as large a pandemic as the pandemic itself .Just remember depression is an illness just like any other and needs to be treated.

I agree it is an illness, and there no cure, but they are people that might can help a person that has it, even if they can help fo one day. I comes back I know, but when it and if you can beat it, you might have a good day. I love your feedback! Everyone's not going to agree with me, or see my point of view. That cool, you have a great point of view too!

In this world, we help out our fellow man or women, even if just give them a kind word, or just listen to what they got to say. Maybe your wisdom, might what they need to hear to bring them back to normal.
