Should I stop answering stupid emails? Dear friends, I have been very good about answering emails, even those where I say we are not a match. But looking at my last 10 emails they all have thing in common and that is that they ignore what I am looking for and tell me what they are looking for. About half of the emails are vulgar and the other half are very polite but still ... So here is the question. Should I began ignoring all emails where the person is ignoring what I seek or should I just ignore the vulgar s ... or ... just keep writing back pointing out that I am only interested in what I deribe in my profile? Don't you have the option of having a pre reply,reply available?Like a recorded message everyone will get if they mail you.I forget what they call it. If they are rude,inappropriate and don't even comply with anything in your profile.Crap on their noise! Delete em'! Using more than all the road!

The dreaded double edged sword. Be polite and answer or just ignore. If you ignore it seems that the men would only become more vulgar. If being polite they think they have a shot. I guess that is why being standard.. It is nice that all messages I get I cannot read.

Most of the timr i stopped answering. Even polite ones. If to young or attached they shouldn't think they are special so I will change my preferences just for them. Not polite to write to a woman you know doesn't want your age or if attached. Same who doesn't want dick pictures. If rude I mostly don't answer. When I do its not with what they want to hear. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

I never answer rude or vulgar-delete once and if they come back block I use a polite reply to those I am not interested in-end of problem (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Thank you everyone. Lots of great answers and lots of good thoughts. I decided to take it to a higher power, my two cats. After much deliberation and discussion they concluded that I should respond to the polite ones just saying not a match, ignore the rude and vulgar, and move on. As some stated "you are your own person and you already know what works for you. Thank you everyone for taking the time to weigh in. I wish you all a merry christmas. smiles, A
