Why I Gave Up Gold Membership

I was asked in a chat room a few days ago why I quit being a gold member of this site. I have been a member of Affairlook for well over a dozen years. I have chatted with a lot of interesting people and even made friends with a few, but I have been in a financial downward spiral for a while now (too old, too educated and too much experience to land a full time job anywhere, so I work part time in the retail industry making a whopping $9.00 an hour - $9.33 as of January 1st), and some things just had to go.

Affairlook was one of the things that was eliminated from my new budget for 2017, along with cable tv, unlimited data and texts on my cell, hot food a few days a week, going out to eat, health insurance, and pretty much almost anything Sabrina related (like makeup and new heels and dresses) and so much more.

5 months ago I started my own business to help with my financial situation. I opened an online hosiery boutique which caters to the trans and larger women community (although I now carry small and medium for you skinny bitches). I love the hosiery I sell. I thought that I would bring all this beautiful European hosiery here and sell them at really great prices so that you can feel luxurious. I'll give you an example "Secrets In Lace" sells sheer 100% Nylon Stockings for $21.95. They are made on the same exact machine (Reading Machine) that my stockings are made on and I sell mine for a lot less. I am not as well known as SIL, and I also don't have my name stamped to the welt, but they are the same quality hosiery. The same goes for my Fully Fashioned stockings and my reinforced heel and toe stockings.

I opened a business I am passionate about and should be doing well in, but I am consistently being beat in sales every month by a few other competitors who have flashier websites and charge a lot more than I do. What do they have that I don't? Models. Real female models modelling their products. Sex sells people and I don't have $1000's of dollars to spend on hiring models like they do. I can't compete with the hotness of a Secrets in Lace model, if I could I'd probably be a world famous model myself.

So I tried the next best thing, direct marketing and offering to post sexy photos and videos of me wearing my products when I reach sales goals. I added a dozen videos of me wearing the hosiery I sell and received a bunch of likes and false promises from people on this site to purchase from me if I add more... stupid me. None of you came through.

I sent 1000's of messages to the TG/CD/TV community here on Affairlook. I would sit here on my days off, all day sending up to a 100 messages a day to my trans sisters asking them to visit and give me a chance to be their official hosiery store. I would be on my webcam wearing a certain brand and trying to let people know about my store and what products I offer. I had 100's of trans girls from here promise to buy, I saved all their messages (of course I can no longer read them not being a gold member) and would follow up. Let them know I got something new in, let them know I ordered their size, let them know I had coupons and sales and a contest to give a free pair of fully fashioned stockings away. But only 1 person on this site has become a customer. 1 out of roughly 2,000+ people I contacted on Affairlook bought from me. She is now a friend and customer because I provide great customer service and am there for my customers. Try that with any other hosiery seller, ask them to chat with you for an hour or two about what to get, what the hosiery feels like, what to wear with it, etc... let me know what they say.

So, a friend told me to try Facebook. She said there are a lot of trans girls on Facebook and they are more serious about dressing and being feminine than on here. So I did. She was right. On Facebook I have made friends with about 100 fellow trans girls, and 8 of them are now customers of mine. They are way more into being feminine and looking their best. Not that there aren't some really cute t-girls on here, but it just seems to be

I hate to sound cold and business like, but the cost to benefit ratio on Facebook is so much better than on here. Also on Facebook I don't have to put up with men and their 1-2 word messages every day.

So to summarize, I am on Affairlook a lot less and I don't get on my webcam very much anymore, I have taken down all my videos and the hundreds of photos I had on here because in the end, 99 percent of you were not interested in helping a person succeed you only wanted to jack off to my photos and videos.

I wish you all the best in whatever it is you are looking for from this site. I can no longer look at any of your profiles or read messages from anyone, and my chat room and IM are also limited.

Hugs,

Sabrina
