St. Patrick's day will be upon us in less than a week. The parades have already started. Did you go to any this past weekend? The past two years I went to one of the early ones down the Jersey Shore.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?
I was considering whether I want to go into NYC for the parade. Already have evening plans although the specifics aren't set. Just know I'll be somewhere. Last year went to a pub where they had bag pipers playing occasionally.

Mutt that I am, it turns out I am mostly Irish.
So, are you Irish? Do you get into the spirit, Irish or not? What ya going to do?

 Italian on my mother's side, but I'm all Irish on my father's side.

Absolutely I will celebrate. It's a tradition!

 I'm German. I've celebrated this holiday a few times in my adult years. But usually that has meant I've been visiting friends who are Irish and they are celebrating and I just get lucky and in on the fun! {=}
