A Milestone Plus One Well Blogworld this is my 401 post. I had a post in mind for number 400 but it's the kind that one really has to treat like an English term paper. There are some thoughts I want to express and they need to be clear. So for now it waits. I did my "Spring" post because I wanted to get something out and quite frankly forgot it was number 400 and that I wanted to do something special. Such is my mind sometimes. What we all commonly call a Brain Fart. So maybe a little review of my time here. I came here, to Affairlook, looking for a FWB (Friend with benefits) due to a failing, non-intimate marriage. Once I found the blogs I realized there was so much more I needed besides the sex and the gentle touch of a woman. At the time I joined I was on the verge of giving up on my marriage. The blogs helped me understand I was not alone no matter how lonely I felt. The blogs helped me be strong and get the right attitude and perspective to actually ask for Divorce last July. This place helped me know that in the "After-Divorce" I would be alright. I went very quickly through a phase which can be very terrible. The one of "well that's it, I'm closing up shop", "who is going to love me anyway", "How am I every going to find someone". It is common among those divorcing and usually ends sometime after getting out from under all the stress of the bad marriage and the process of Divorce. It was really only a blip on my radar screen. My Divorce is in progress and one for the record books as I have been told by a number of people. In a good way. This is no "war of the Roses". She was as ready as I to end the marriage. There doesn't seem to be anything to fight about. Just details to work out. We still all live together with no friction. I feel like recognizing a few special women with whom I have connected. They above all have helped me through some tough times and helped me grow. Everyone I have connected with here is special in my life. These relationships, however, are extra, extra special. I am not blogging or getting around to comment as much as I have in the past. It seems to be the way for a number of us. The phases of our lives move along and priorities shift. I let the balance purposely shift way over. I spent incredible amounts of time here. It now has to swing back. I have also had some writers block. A little more of a serious post. But hey, it's good to review things once in a while. I like thinking back and seeing how far I have come. The future is a little less clear. You know what they say about hindsight. Lots of decisions to make. Especially about where to live. Just know that overall I am doing well. I'm still a work in progress and know there are challenges ahead. Things I need to do to make sure my next relationship is the best it can be. I'll keep you all posted from time to time on my progress. Have a very happy hump day my friends.
