Is That You?

<---- Sticker on back of car.

It's a little different here than on that "other" site. Many of us don't have face pictures on our profiles. Some will only have them in network photos. Yet others only reveal themselves when they plan to meet someone. I did hear of someone going to meet a person and they had never seen their face.

So my question is, how well do you think your picture depicts the actual you? Either your profile and / or your face piccie. Is what you see what you get? Do you get comliments such as you are even more pretty / handsome in person?
What say you?

My pictures are exactly me - of course they are the best pictures of me I can find - but they are me - and as to if I look better when you meet me - it depends on the person - most have thought I looked better - one or two - the really young ones - didn't exactly say but you could tell by the reaction that they thought I looked older than they thought I would be or possibly was not as thin as they thought - I don't really worry about it - I am as honest as possible - if you don't listen to what I say - then that is your issue - I make no promises I am not willing to honor - no false advertising here.

Something to always remember - we all have "bad hair days" - some days you just don't look your best because of how you feel - so - that has to taken into account.

I also believe that the person you are inside has a lot to do with how you are perceived - inner beauty does shine through - it's not all about the packaging.

I so agree with you about inner beauty shining through. Ones disposition can so change how one is perceived physically.
Good observations.

My photos as well depict the "real " me. Although my face photo is not the first one a potential friend/lover sees, since I do want some anonymity here. The photos are about a year old or so, and I really should get some new ones taken...Any volunteers?

It's you alright. Your pic matches the man in person.

What you see in my pictures is what you get. I can't capture my eyes in my pictures and everyone compliments me on them. Ahhhhhh yes, they are green...

I'll bet you look even better in person. I think my eyes look more blue depending on what I'm wearing. Not sure if that comes across in pictures.
