First Holidays alone
Well folks, this was my first year waking up Christmas morning with nobody around in as long as I can remember. No coming downstairs wide eyed to see all the gifts under the tree. No fire in the fireplace and wrapping paper all over. No or cat trying to get in the middle of everything...

So it was a little weird. But I did have a little Christmas tree for myself and put the presents under it on the off chance I would get a visit. They never responsed to my invite. Saw them the week after New Years at a diner. Who knew it would come to this.

Christmas was early for my own immediate family due to out of town relatives being here the week before.

So little was done on Christmas itself. I did have an invite to dinner with friends. That was nice.

The highlight of the day was late that evening when the drive to Florida began. Went down to spend New Years in the warm sun.

We had a blast.
