🥂❤️ Bagels
Today we celebrate carb fever and National Bagel day. " The recipe for making bagels was once a closely guarded secret. Jewish immigrants in New York City had brought this baked good to America in the early 1900s. What a treat they are. I follow that old saying and frankly experience that the best bagels are from the New York City and North New Jersey areas. I have a niece who loves "real bagels" (Her words . She has never been down this way, so when I visit Upstate New York I better have some packed . Plain, with cream cheese or sandwich ,,yummy. Are you a bagel lover? If you are what do you like to put on them? Do you have any bagel stories?

 Sounds good to me, I wish we had a Bagel shop here, I particularly enjoy the poppy seed bagels. I hope you get to enjoy your favorite Bagel today..

 We have the best bagels here and egg sandwiches too. I have found when traveling that people don't eat egg sandwiches from delis anywhere else. I like everything bagels best. The bagel shop nearest to me has "fla-gels" which are flattened bagels. (The flatter to make my egg sandwich with, lol.)

 i like a toasted everything bagel with lox and cream cheese... red onion, tomato and lots of capers!

my old house had a great bagel shop nearby and i liked getting spinach or jalapeno. i'm not sure of a bagel shop where i live now.

lately i really have gotten into english muffins which i'm toasting and eating with lots of cream cheese in lieu of a local bagel shop.
