The Duke, I of course am referring to John Wayne. I have done this with God sons many times in the past. But as they get older , their perspective is changing. As many of you know, he was an action type actor. In opinion (remember, an opinion is one of several things we all have ) he was one of the greatest role models boys . Exuding an aura of confidence, fairness and patriotism. His roles were certainly in some cases over blown purposely . The boys continue to be surprised some of his actions in the movies, like sticking to his values, sometimes to the detriment of his character. Although not a politically correct character, he always seemed to be honest and fair, attributes that shows what a man should be. Do you remember John Wayne? Did you enjoy his character (s) in the movies?
