Can I help you (Puedo ayudarle?) ? Is that something you would or have said to a person you do not know? What ever language you use is it something common for you , or in your area? A simple gesture, a Random Act of Kindness (RAK). I guess I should not be , but I am so pleased when I see my Godsons running ahead to open and hold a door for someone, offering to help carry a package for someone that needs help. I think that manners are so important , maybe a one of the most important things we can teach the young folks, it gives them a solid foundation for so many other things in life. What are your thoughts, do you have examples of things you have seen done or that you have done?

 I always help someone when i can and am able even though i am in a wheelchair myself it is not a question of will i its a question of what can i do ..I am grateful that i am still able to do lots for someone..I have a little sister that i mentor ..( big Sisters ) and teens have it so hard today with peer pressure..the little gal i just me has so many friends who always are trying to talk her into partying and just being crazy ,,after saying no to them she lost them so called friends ..she bought a horse and was shunned for that by them...Shes so mature for her age 15 ..it amazes me..great kid and will go far..

 I learned a long time ago to say " How May I Help You" . That way if someone needs assistance or wants help but is too shy or embarrassed to ask, they have to say something besides Uh No. If you say Can I- it only leads to yes or no, instead of what they really need. Any small act of kindness goes a long way

 I ask people if I can help them all the time. My problem is knowing how to ask for help.

 Happy Saturday Pal, RAK should be celebrated daily not just once a year, and I am constantly helping out someone. I am glad to hear your grandsons are as well, you have been a great mentor for them. I hope you enjoy a pleasant Saturday with lots of RAK..
