When Being Humble Meant Nothing
When Being Humble Meant Nothing “I was born and have ever remained in the most humble walks of life” – Abraham Lincoln Whenever I come to this site, I told myself that there are so many things to discover and I need to carry some form of humility and try to be as humble as I possibly could when approaching anyone, both old and new. There are different people from all walks of life that carry different expectations and priorities when they are here. People change their mindset all the time, it’s like you won’t want to have the same course of meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That is the reason why you always approach people as humble as you can and fingers crossed that the other end would be kind and polite enough to let you in. What I’ve encountered recently has so far never happened to me in the past before. I’ve seen a chap who approach a couple being humiliated by them (profile probably being handled by the male), posting private communication between the fellow and the couple public to humiliate him. Usually, one would be entitled to be humiliated when he/she behaves like an arrogant asshole during the approach. However, that is not the case… the conversation looked very decent (from my perspective as the couple posted the full message). The poor lad came with a proper introduction, a few praises to the couple and then the question of interest of communication. This couple hung this poor lad communication out to the public in response, and it was not pretty. The couples profile did mention that they are seeking couples or females and on occasion selected males to join in the fun. So the poor chap tried his luck. I believe that there’s plenty of other arrogant males messages that they can make an example of. Just clearly doesn’t understand why this poor lads? What I am getting at with this… if someone comes up to you, showing respect, humility and being humble, would you smear the person like that out in the open? I don’t really see the point there. Why not just communicate back in private and a simple response of “No, thanks for trying” would suffice, no? Why take it out? Is being nice is no longer tolerated these days? Or perhaps being an ass is the norm that no one would want to sing about anymore these days? |

Just my 2 cents - what you may deem respectful, may not be what others think is. Same with humility. Some of us have been here so long and have been targeted with some nasty shit that they are kindda "sensitive". But there are all sorts and it's how we react that will show us up. (most likely, people will develop more negative thoughts about the couple than they will about the lad) - and a couple of days later..... ermmm who? Wannabe/Sexpot - which one do you want me to be?
