Yes, I like black and white photographs and did many in college and when I had my dark room. I always found that fuji had certain colors it shown better then Kodak and Kodak was better for some tones but I liked tri x for crisp black and whites and Tmax for a creamier look. Now with all the digital software you can do a lot in a shorter time frame. Great photo, Thank you for sharing. My week is going well though we just received more snow yesterday and more maybe Monday but the temps are better. I hope you have a great vacation and enjoy yourself.

To be totally honest, I'm not a fan of B&W....but I do like one with a splash of color in it. Like your picture - with just the toenails colored. That would look so cool. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

You deserve your up coming time off, just be careful and don't over do the sun thing. It can catch up to you later.. Enjoy the trip, we have had 75 and sun here a few days but we have had an unusual amount of cool and rain this winter. but also we have hot dry summers, big time different.. LOL, no that is not weird at all, I think part of making your photos come to life on the paper was part of the ART of photography that those using computers will not know. I do miss that smell as well though enjoyed the fixer smell as well.
