I had an entertaining night last night, watching an old English movie "The Ladykillers".
I really enjoyed that. Not much moving, but funny!

The next movie ion my programme will be moving me ... it always does:
"Doctor Zhivago" (a 3-plus-hours opus!)

Here the whole country is in lock-down. Many people, like myself, are working from home. The last few days, there was a huge load on the network and most of the time I was unable to access this site. SO if you don't hear from me or see me for some time, it's nothing personal!

Everyone stay safe and healthy! Especially you!

Honestly, I can't remember the last one which literally moved me because I've been watching so many documentaries of late, but I'll have to watch the ones you've mentioned. Never even heard of 19.

I'm a movie freak. Sooo many good ones out there - all for different reasons.
How about the one I watched tonight - Indiana Jones 3, 1983.
Retro, Sean Connery (and the vibe with his son) , the great 'one liners' sprinkled throughout. I hadn't seen it in a long time. Moved me? No... but it made me smile and laugh.
Sometimes it's the mood I'm in. Sometimes it's the film. I was in THAT mood tonight

I watched Sully this week. Thought the "interrogation" by the NTSB which was added into the script was unnecessary, but seemingly Clint Eastwood (director) wanted some kind of drama.

As if a forced landing of a plane on a river wasn't dramatic enough.

It wasn't AT ALL deep, just good silly fun - Knives Out - just released on Blu-ray.

I've been watching movies on the Disney Musicals channel lately....anything to take my mind off the news channels. Watched Grease and Evita yesterday....not very moving but I love the music.

Yes, it surely is a classic! I love Omar Sharif. And last night it occurred to me that they were self-isolating too, albeit for political reasons ...

I have read so much favorable about 1917, I think that would be my next choice. I do not remember my last movie, I am stuck on cowboy movies from the old days
