Character matters Just when you think the chaos and crazy behavior in the White House cannot get worse, it does. That is why I call Trump the limbo president. Like the limbo game, how low can you go? Pretty damn low! We have left planet Earth a while ago. We are now on our way to Hades. Very sub-terranian. Even my spelling has degenerated. OK, whose fault is this? Ours. We ignored all the flashing lights, the red flags, the warnings. We bought a gold plated Trump Tower, a reality show buzz and ignored the evils which were on display. We were lured by shiny objects. Flash and cash. Ignored stodgy substance and knowledge. Ignored experience in favor of insults and BS. The American public votes in the kind of leaders we deserve. So the saddest part of the tragedy is that we bought this pig in a poke. A lying lecher, irrational and juvenile. Fragile, vindictive and ignorant, just like we are. Ignoring history, despising the educated elites. Helping the rich get richer and punishing the poor, the immigrants, the minorities, the women and the weak. We are total asses and total white supremacy mongers. We deserve the shit storm we have created. We elected a would be king and autocrat. Just like Germany elected Hitler and Italy elected Mussolini. We did it. We own the mess. Should we give up and elect a king? We are unfit to rule. Government of the people has died. Can we re-animate a corpse? We need Jesus to bring Lazarus back from the dead. Yes I know Hilary won an extra 3 million votes, but our system of the Electoral College gave the win to Trump. So we shot ourselves. Our Russian "friends" won. The right wing won. The Democrats also failed to make a clear message and ignored the older white unemployed blue collar workers. The GOP tricked them into thinking Trump cared. He does not. Trump only cares for money and status and his ego. He is the greatest attention ever. He lies so much because he does not know or care about truth. He is a salesman, telling you whatever you want to hear. Next minute he tells you something else. We let the poison spread to harm the credibility of the press, the military, the Justice department, the CIA and FBI, the courts and the media. Can the economy withstand a full out trade war with China, Europe, Canada and Asia? History is not kind to such ideas. batten down the hatches as the storm is raging and can still get worse. We are well and truly fucked. No one will or can save us. We are dead zombies. And this is the optomistic version. |
